Scene 1
Karthik sas meet Jiya my friend and this is Lakshmi, she’s part of my family. Jiya gets upset he calls her family. Jiya says she’s the same girl from the viral video right? She gets angry.
Lakshmi gives Somiya thandai. She says I don’t want it. Lakshmi says you asked Mangal to bring it. Somiya says where is Mangal? Lakshmi says she must be around. You don’t need to worry. Gaitri asks the staff to turn off the mic. She’s worried. Lakshmi gets on the stage. She starts singing. Everyone is shocked. Mangal says Lakshmi? Adit plays the guitar. Shanti says she’s so clever. Gaitri says what is she doing? Kusum says everyone is happy and cheering. She saved the day. Everyoen is cheering for her song. A woman asks Mangal is that your sister? Mangal says yes. She (Maya) asks if is she married. Mangal says no. She says I am GAitri’s friend. I like your sister. I want to send a proposal for her so my son. He’s a bank manager, I wanted a simple and nice girl like her for my son.
Lakshmi continues the song. Everyoen cheers for her. Jiya is upset. The kids hug Lakshmi. Karthik says no one is like you. I like you. I love you. Jiya is shocked. Lakshmi asks what is he saying. She did hear, she had earphones on. Karthik falls. Lakshmi saves him. Lakshmi gives him water. Jiya says he’s too drunk. Jiya shoves Lakshmi and says you move aside. She says Karthik are you okay? Why did you do this? How dare you say that to Lakshmi. Gaitri shoves Jiya and says how dare you.. Kusum asks the guests to leave. She asks Adit to take Karthik inside. Gaitri says to Jiya who are you to question my son like that? How dare you talk to him like that? Jiya says his condition. Gaitri says his mom is here to take care of his condition. Don’t pretend to care for him. You’re responsible for this condition. You can’t fool me. Jiya says what did I do? Gaitri says shut up. You gave him thandai. You forced him to drink it. I saw it myself. Get out of my house. Jiya cries. Kusum says didn’t you hear? Get out.
Gaitri says to call a doctor. Kusum says he’s fine. Adit just take him inside. Mangal says to Lakshmi I don’t know what happened to Karthik. Lakshmi says he might have drunk bhang by mistake. Mangal says no one can bring that to Gaitri’s party. She’s worried. Lakshmi says what will people think?. I went on the street. Mangal says you sang so well. How did you know the lyrics? Lakshmi says that’s the song I wrote. I don’t know how Karthik got the lyrics. I wrote it on paper and made a plane of it and flew it. Jiya hears it. She recalls they found that paper. Mangal says it’s such a beautiful song. Jiya says Karthik shouldn’t know Lakshmi wrote this song. She says to Lakshmi you have a misunderstanding. You didn’t write this song. Karthik’s lyrics wrote it. Lakshmi says I wrote it myself. Jiya says someone else can write as well.
Scene 3
Karthik is in his room. Adit says Karthik come to senses. He says I want ice cream. Adit takes him to the bed. Karthik says I love you, brother. You’re my nice. You take care of everyone. Mangal is the sweetest. Don’t get mad at her. She always takes care of her. You’re very lucky to have a wife like her. Adit says yeah very lucky. I hope you also get a wife like Mangal. I will see you then.
