Kapil gently applies cream to Mangal’s burnt hand, and she thanks him for his care. He excuses himself briefly, then returns with a dress, saying, “I bought this for your mehendi.” Mangal hesitates, but Kapil requests her to accept it, and she agrees. Adit, unable to stay, quietly leaves, and Kusum notices his disappointment. Kapil greets Kusum, admitting that he couldn’t resist seeing Mangal after her accident, then departs. Mangal tells Kusum she’ll place the lehenga inside and follow.
Kusum prays to Maata Rani for guidance, concerned about Adit’s remorse. Suddenly, a gust of wind causes a red cloth packet to fall from the cupboard—inside are the burnt pieces of Adit and Mangal’s hidden divorce papers. Kusum tries to open it but rushes to Adit when she hears a sound, leaving
Meanwhile, Chinta Bua notes that the bride’s family hasn’t arrived yet. Bijli complains to Dadi that Mangal and her family came by taxi, spoiling their reputation. Chinta Bua remarks on Mangal arriving with her children and notices Lipika’s appearance, praising her to Pratima. She asks Mangal and her family to wait while she brings the aarti thali. Pratima greets Mangal, and Akshat inquires about Kapil. Kapil arrives, mesmerized by Mangal, as flower petals shower down. Chinta Bua insists on performing the aarti herself. Mangal holds Akshat and Ishana’s hands while Chinta Bua secretly schemes.
Chinta Bua calls Lipika, praising her and suggesting she visit often since they are becoming like family. Lipika, slightly doubtful, agrees, mentioning she will apply mehendi to Mangal. Noticing Kapil wanting to speak with Mangal, Lipika takes Shanti along to give them space. Kapil compliments Mangal’s appearance, and she blushes, crediting his choice of dress. Just then, Pratima arrives to take Mangal for the mehendi rituals.
As the mehendi artist prepares, Mangal recalls her first marriage with Adit and feels anxious. Shanti encourages her, reminding her that Kapil is different and asking her to enjoy the rituals. Just as the artist is about to begin, Pratima suddenly halts the process, leaving Mangal in suspense.
Precap: Chinta presents Mangal with their ancestral necklace, mentioning it’s made of 50 gm of gold. She attempts to place it around Mangal’s neck, but it doesn’t fit, remarking that perhaps the necklace wasn’t meant for her. Kapil then adjusts it perfectly, declaring that the necklace seems truly destined for Mangal, which leaves Chinta visibly upset.
