Mangal approaches Kusum to help her, but Kusum turns away. Mangal, hurt, asks if she too believes the accusations against her, insisting she could never harm Sudesh. Adit arrives, scolding Mangal for troubling his mother, leaving her heartbroken as she walks away. Later, Mangal signs the divorce papers and hands them to Sowmya, who tells her she made the right choice and demands she leave. When Sowmya tries to break her mangalsutra, Mangal stops her, removes it herself, and gives it to her, lashing out in anger. Ishana watches in shock.
Mangal retreats to the bathroom, sitting under the shower as the water washes away her sindoor. Overcome with grief, she breaks down. Meanwhile, Sowmya manipulates Adit, claiming Mangal signed the papers without hesitation and doesn’t care about their family. She insists Mangal is guilty and is only leaving to escape the truth. Mangal, now without her sindoor and mangalsutra, looks at herself in the mirror before packing her belongings. Seeing a photo of Sudesh, she apologizes for failing him and vows to take care of Kusum despite leaving the house.
Ishana questions Mangal about packing, and Mangal explains that after the divorce, they have no place in the house. Ishana refuses to leave, reminding Mangal this is her father’s home. She accuses Mangal of being selfish and responsible for their family’s suffering. Shocked, Mangal tries to reassure her, but Ishana storms off. Mangal, determined, resolves not to leave her children with Sowmya.
Mangal then approaches Kusum’s room, pleading with her to open the door. Before Kusum can respond, Sowmya intervenes, claiming Kusum doesn’t want to see her. She cruelly tells Mangal that Kusum’s silence proves her hatred. Mangal warns Sowmya to stay out of her relationship with Kusum, but Sowmya reminds her that her ties with the family are already broken and demands she leave. As tensions rise, Mangal shouts Sowmya’s name, prompting Adit to intervene. Sowmya accuses Mangal of causing a scene. Seeing Mangal without her wedding symbols and her luggage packed, Adit refuses to let her meet Kusum, ordering her to stay away. Stunned, Mangal stands in shock.
