Mangal wakes up and notices Adit shivering on the floor. Feeling sorry for him, she gently covers him with a duvet. Adit stirs awake, and Mangal reassures him, saying she will bring him coffee before heading out. Later, in the kitchen, Kusum arrives while Mangal is cooking. Mangal asks her to taste the food, but as soon as Kusum does, she realizes there’s no salt and scolds Mangal. Instead of getting upset, Mangal simply smiles, happy that Kusum is just like her old self. She quickly adds the missing salt and, overwhelmed with emotion, hugs Kusum.
Just then, Sowmya walks in and asks Mangal to step aside so she can make her detox drink. However, Kusum intervenes, telling Sowmya to wait since Mangal is busy preparing breakfast. Annoyed, Sowmya leaves, but in her mind, she’s scheming—she needs to give Kusum the drug soon before she regains her memory. A little later, Sowmya approaches Adit with an idea: they should hire a massage therapist for Kusum. Adit agrees and asks her to arrange it. Meanwhile, Mangal continues looking after Kusum with care.
That same day, Akshat asks Mangal to fetch a project chart from the storeroom. Before leaving, she asks Sudesh to keep an eye on Kusum. As she and Akshat head to the storeroom, Sowmya seizes the opportunity. Disguising herself as the massage therapist, she enters Kusum’s room and tricks Sudesh into leaving, claiming Mangal sent her. Inside the storeroom, Mangal finds the chart for Akshat, but before they can leave, they realize the door is locked. They start banging on it until Isha finally hears them and lets them out.
Meanwhile, in Kusum’s room, Sowmya injects her with a heavy dose of drugs. Kusum struggles to focus, trying to see who’s behind the attack, but the drug quickly takes effect, making her dizzy. Just then, Mangal walks in, but Sowmya manages to escape through the window, injuring her foot in the process.
Sudesh returns and asks Mangal about the massage therapist. Confused, Mangal says she never called for one. She immediately confronts Adit, asking if he hired a “maalishwali.” When Adit confirms he did, Sowmya steps in, telling Mangal to stop making a fuss over everything. Furious, Mangal tells Adit that Kusum’s condition has worsened because of this so-called therapist who mysteriously disappeared. Realizing the gravity of the situation, Adit makes a decision—going forward, no decisions will be made without Mangal’s approval.
Meanwhile, Jia shares shocking news with Prema: Gayatri is alive. They rush to confirm it but find Sanjana instead. Sanjana, always one step ahead, intimidates them into backing off. Later, Lakshmi and Raghuveer arrive and question Sanjana about how she handled the situation. Sanjana smugly explains how she overheard Jia’s conversation and manipulated everything to her advantage.
Elsewhere, Nidhi and Umesh meet Gayatri, who insists that everything she’s done was to protect Karthik. Despite their doubts, the family ultimately decides to stand by Lakshmi, determined to save Karthik together. Jia, however, refuses to go home. Prema warns her not to trust anyone and promises to prove that Gayatri is alive, insisting that the whole family is playing a game.
Back home, Raghuveer tells the family that they will soon celebrate Karthik’s return. But their joy is short-lived—just then, the doorbell rings. Lakshmi answers and finds a letter with a chilling threat: if Gayatri doesn’t stop her “ghost act,” Karthik will be harmed. Raghuveer immediately takes the letter to the police, hoping to increase Karthik’s security. Meanwhile, Prema meets with the inspector and requests restrictions on the family’s visits to Karthik. The inspector assures her that visits are already being limited.
When Lakshmi arrives at the police station and hands over the letter, the inspector opens it—only to find a blank page. He accuses her of creating unnecessary drama. Lakshmi instantly realizes that Prema is behind this.
Smirking, Prema taunts Lakshmi, reminding her that the family should stop Gayatri’s “drama” if they want Karthik to be safe. She then recalls how she had used a disappearing ink pen to erase the threatening message over time. Later, Raghuveer finds Lakshmi in tears and asks what’s wrong. Lakshmi, heartbroken, tells him that Jia’s so-called love for Karthik isn’t real and that they can’t afford to take these threats lightly. Prema bribes a woman to tamper with Karthik’s food. Sensing danger, Lakshmi makes up her mind—she must go to the jail and protect Karthik herself.
