Mangal Lakshmi 28th October 2025 Written Episode, Written Update on TellyUpdates.com
Mangal approaches Sunita at the hospital and gently informs her that Neel is out of danger and has stopped crying. Handing over his phone, Mangal says, “I’m a mother too, and I understand your pain.” She tells Sunita not to worry about the hospital bills, as she has already taken care of them. Just then, Mangal receives a video call from Ishana, who asks where she is. Mangal reassures her that she’s on her way home and will explain everything once she arrives. After the call, Mangal tells Sunita that her children are waiting for her and urges her to take care of herself and Neel before leaving. Once alone, Sunita breaks down, filled with guilt for having exchanged Neel and Ishana at birth sixteen years ago.
Back home, Adit lashes out at Mangal for not answering his calls and accuses her of being irresponsible. He mocks her, saying that now that Kapil is no longer supporting her, she should act more carefully. He angrily questions what would have happened if he hadn’t arrived in time to stop the fire. Mangal explains that a child accidentally threw a string of crackers that caused the fire. Adit refuses to believe her, accusing her of risking their children’s lives for her business. Ishana steps in to defend her mother, saying it was just a prank. Mangal agrees, adding that she had gone to catch the boy responsible. Adit snaps, saying, “You can’t do anything, Mangal. I realized that today.”
The house owner soon arrives, shocked at the sight of the burned dhaba. Mangal explains the fire was caused by crackers but assures her she will fix everything and is grateful that no one was hurt. The owner sternly asks what if something worse had happened. Adit interrupts, blaming her for the lack of fire safety and accusing her of only being punctual when it comes to collecting rent. Mangal tries to calm him down, promising she’ll handle the situation. The owner reminds Mangal that this month’s rent is still due but adds that she’ll cancel it out of compassion, admiring Mangal’s resilience as a single mother. Shanti and the kids feel proud, while the owner remarks that she wouldn’t have done the same if Mangal were still living with Adit.
Shanti takes the opportunity to scold Adit, saying her daughter has earned respect through her hard work, unlike him. Adit, still angry, insists the boy who caused the fire should be punished and declares he’ll call the police. Mangal stops him, pleading to give Neel another chance, explaining that he’s just a child. Adit retorts that she’s not his mother, but Mangal replies softly, “I’m a mother, and I can understand.” She explains that when she went to confront Neel, he met with an accident, and she had to rush him to the hospital—hence her delay in returning home.
While they talk, Akshat begins eating sweets. Adit, preparing to leave, steps aside to answer a phone call. Shanti advises Mangal not to be too lenient with Neel, but Mangal insists on forgiving him for his mother’s sake. Suddenly, Akshat clutches his stomach in pain.
Meanwhile, at Sowmya’s house, she asks Kusum if she checked whether the kids liked her laddoos. Kusum video calls Adit, who hands the phone to Ishana. As Ishana chats with her grandmother, Akshat cries out in pain, saying, “I ate Dadi’s laddoos, and now my stomach hurts.” Adit and Kusum both overhear this. Adit rushes to Akshat while Kusum ends the call in shock. Sowmya grows worried, wondering why Akshat fell sick after eating the same sweets he’s always loved.
Mangal comforts Akshat, telling him not to cry and assuring him she’ll prepare herbal kadha for relief. She insists it might not be because of the sweets. Adit angrily tells her to stay home and focus on cooking instead of getting involved elsewhere.
That night, as Shanti cuts vegetables by candlelight, Mangal tries to wake Akshat, telling him it’s not time to sleep yet. Suddenly, she notices a shadow near Ishana’s dance practice area. A masked figure watches from the dark. When Mangal calls out, the person panics and tries to flee before she can catch them.
Precap: Sunita confesses to Mangal that Ishana is not her biological daughter.
