Mangal tearfully apologises to Bhabhi Ji for leaving the competition the previous day, explaining that she had a family emergency. But Bhabhi Ji coldly reminds her that she broke the competition rules, and therefore must be removed from the contest. Mangal tries to justify her decision, saying her mother-in-law suddenly fell ill and she had to rush to help her—anyone in her place would have done the same. Bhabhi Ji responds that Kusum could have taken help from other family members, whereas everyone participating here has made the competition their priority. She then announces Mangal’s disqualification. Heartbroken, Mangal walks out.
Outside, Mangal breaks down in tears. Sowmya approaches her with fake sympathy, saying she should have asked her to check on Kusum, since Kusum was once
Mangal returns to Bhabhi Ji, who says she has decided to give her another chance. A relieved Mangal thanks her. But Bhabhi Ji warns that she will have to perform extra tasks and follow her boss’s instructions carefully. She then reveals that Sowmya—not Bhabhi Ji—will be Mangal’s boss for the day. Shocked, Mangal asks if this is really necessary. Bhabhi Ji tells her not to mix personal and professional matters and to simply focus on the work. Mangal agrees, accepting the challenge despite her hesitation.
Earlier, the organiser had warned Bhabhi Ji that disqualifying Mangal could backfire legally, as Mangal had informed them about her emergency beforehand. Forced to reconsider, Bhabhi Ji agreed to let her return but decided she would make the competition extremely difficult for her.
Back in the present, Sowmya wastes no time making things hard. She ties one of Mangal’s hands to her waist and orders her to cook using only one hand. Mangal protests that this is unfair, but Sowmya insists she is the boss and Mangal must obey. Bhabhi Ji also states that if Mangal is getting a second chance, it won’t be an easy one. Sowmya inwardly celebrates this perfect opportunity to defeat her.
Bhabhi Ji tells Mangal to either accept the challenge or leave. Determined, Mangal chooses to continue. She struggles to cut vegetables with one hand while Sowmya mocks her, pretending to be concerned about her getting hurt. Mangal ignores her, places the chopped vegetables in a bowl, and keeps working. Sowmya demands that she cut all the vegetables in the exact same shape. Mangal replies that her recipe doesn’t require uniform cuts. Sowmya then orders her to prepare besan soup. Mangal says it will be difficult to make with one hand. Sowmya challenges her, asking if she is backing out. Mangal refuses and says she will do it, no matter how tough it is.

This is the most stupid and degrading aerial ever. Sowmya who doesn’t know how to cook suddenly takes part in a cooking show and becomes the boss?! Mangal continues to be a door mat for everyone? What are the writers and producers of this series aiming for? One pathetic series!
