Sowmya asks Adit which dress suits her better, but his hesitation frustrates her. She lashes out, accusing him and his mother of only caring about Mangal. She reminds Adit that she’s observing Teej for him and feels unappreciated. Adit apologizes and promises to take her shopping after his interview, which cheers her up.
Meanwhile, Mangal, stranded in the rain with no available company cabs, books a private one. She quickly grows uneasy with the driver’s behavior and asks him to stay on the main road, but he refuses. Sensing danger, she notices there’s no signal on her phone. When she insists on stopping the car, another man forcefully enters. The men ignore her pleas, take her phone, and the car eventually crashes. Seizing the moment, Mangal escapes through a broken window.
Elsewhere, Adit also struggles to find a ride in the rain and thinks about how Sowmya didn’t let him use the car. He spots the same suspicious men but hesitates to ask for help. Meanwhile, the attackers search for Mangal.
Kapil learns from a call that Mangal successfully closed a business deal. Wondering why she hasn’t called, he assumes she’s busy with the kids. Pratima urges him to bring Mangal home for Teej, but he lies, saying she’s unwell. Pratima secretly hopes to keep Mangal away from Adit.
Sowmya, on the phone with a friend, says Adit has gone to Ghaziabad and expects gifts from him for Teej. She tries to call him but can’t reach him.
Back on the road, Mangal, while running, falls and is recaptured by the goons. She fights back with a rock and stick, screaming for help. Adit hears her and rushes toward the sound. Mangal cleverly plays a police siren on her phone, scaring the attackers away.
Pratima speaks with Shanti, emphasizing that Mangal must fully accept Kapil’s family and uphold traditions, especially during Teej. Shanti promises Mangal will fulfill her duties.
Later, Adit finds a shaken Mangal. She recounts the entire ordeal. Furious, Adit blames Kapil for letting her travel alone and scolds Mangal for putting herself in danger again. Noticing her cough, he gives her water, reminding her of the doctor’s advice. Just then, a tempo approaches, and Adit helps Mangal into it after arranging a ride to Delhi.
The next morning, Mangal prepares her Teej thali in front of Maata Rani and places the chunri in it. At the breakfast table, Kusum reminds Adit that it’s Teej—Mangal is observing it for Kapil, and Sowmya is upset he came home late. Kusum asks him to come home early for Sowmya’s sake.
Kapil arrives to take Mangal home for Teej. As she agrees and lifts her thali, the chunri slips. Both Adit and Mangal catch it together—an act silently witnessed by Kapil.
