Pratima confronts Sowmya at the hospital for filing a case against Kapil. When Sowmya refuses to withdraw it, insisting Kapil deserves jail, Pratima taunts her by asking why she then wants to remove Mangal from Adit’s life.
Pratima then storms into Adit’s room and is shocked to find Mangal donating blood to him. She angrily removes the drip, demanding to know how Mangal can save Adit while Kapil suffers. Mangal defends her actions, stating she would help anyone fighting for life and questions Pratima’s humanity. A nurse intervenes and reinserts the drip, chastising Pratima for endangering the patient.
Later, Mangal learns that Kapil’s bail has been rejected due to his past record. Distraught, she prays for his protection. At the hospital, Sudesh insists Mangal go home to rest. Sowmya intervenes, coldly stating they don’t need her there and telling her to leave.
At home, Mangal finds solace in preparing for Ganesh Chaturthi with her children, Akshat and Ishana, explaining that praying to Lord Ganesha (Bappa) will help their father. Their moment of peace is interrupted by Shanti, who scolds Mangal for helping Adit. Mangal defends her choice, explaining that saving Adit is the only way he can reveal the truth and prove Kapil’s innocence. Shanti reluctantly agrees and prays for Mangal’s troubles to end.
The next day, as the family prepares for the pooja, Mangal is still working on Kapil’s bail. Sowmya, overhearing this, secretly plots against her by planting money in an envelope with Mangal’s name on it. The pooja begins with Mangal successfully lighting the Akhand Jyoti (eternal flame). With everyone feeling hopeful, Mangal offers a final prayer, asking Bappa to protect both Kapil and Adit.
