Scene 1
Kusum says we should take Saumiya home. We will convince Shalini and Vinod then she can go home. We can’t take a risk. Adit’s name came in the case. Adit asks Saumiya to talk to her. She says I need to go to freshen up. Adit says I have to take the discharge paper. Adit hugs Saumiya outside and says I am so glad you’re okay. Please don’t do this again. She says you broke up with me. What else could I do? I can’t live without my love. He says I love you, never do this again. She says wow, I have your love but not you with me. Anyway, do you have a problem with me going home with you? Adit says we have to be careful. Mangal comes there. Adit asks Saumiya to sign the papers.
Mangal opens the door. She walks in with Adit. Mangal says come in. Kusum says come in. The light goes off. Mangal looks around for the candle. Kusum says where is Adit? Adit says I am here. Adit and Saumiya enter the house together. Mangal calls Lakshmi. She says I feel like Saumiya is in this condition because of me. She recalls how Adit blamed her. Lakshmi says Saumiya said yes herself. Mangal says I should have stayed out of all this. We will send her back home once she is better. Sudesh says to Kusum I don’t like Saumiya living with us. Kusum says we could have gotten into a police case. We have to tread with care. Magnal says to Lakshmi it’s a sensitive case. It’s about a few days only.
Scene 2
Lakshmi’s utensils are missing. The cook tells her Gayatri took them out.
Ishana and Akshar ask why doesn’t Ishana go to her parents. Mangal says she’s just our guest. She asks Kusum why is Saumiya sleeping in my room. Adit says behave yourself. Saumiya says he is right. Kids need their space. I can sleep in the hall here. It’s alright. Mangal says no. She says no it’s okay. I can stay here. Mangal says I arranged your bed with Amma. She says where will uncle sleep? Kusum says he can sleep with the kids. Saumiya says I can sleep in the hall. Mangal says you need care, we can’t let you sleep alone. Saumiya says I can sleep in your room then. I mean with you, Adit can sleep with the kids. Kusum says Adit should sleep with his wife. We are old. They are a young couple, they need privacy. Do you understand that? She says Mangal keeps her stuff here.
Scene 3
Gayatri comes back home. Lakshmi asks about the pots. She says I just came home and you started asking me questions? Lakshmi says it was my family. She says I am busy. Lakshmi says my family pots. Shobha told me you took them out. She says I sold them. They were so dirty. We have branded utensils only. Lakshmi says they belonged to my mom. I kept them safe for years. I never sold them. Gayatri says you are your mom’s last symbol, not those pots. Lakshmi says I could have put them somewhere else. Yo shouldn’t have sold them. Gayatri sees KArthik coming, she starts crying and says please forgive me. I made a mistake. Lakshmi is confused. Karthik asks what happened. She says I made a mistake. I saw Lakshmi’s utensils and sold them for polish but Lakshmi got mad. She said I shouldn’t have touched them. Lakshmi says but you said you sold them. Gayatri says why would I sell them? Lakshmi says you just said they were not good. Gayatri says yes that’s why I sent them for polish. You cursed me so much. I don’t need to sell some pots for money. I am not that cheap. She says forgive me. Karthik says what is all this Lakshmi? Why would mom sell your pots? He leaves in anger.
Scene 3
Adit asks Mangal if she checks on Saumiya if she’s okay. Mangal says yes she’s fine. The light goes off. Adit says what is happening today. Mangal tries to shut down the windows. Adit helps her. Her hair is open. Adit looks at Mangal. They come close. Saumiya wakes up. She says that the dream looked like reality. Saumiya comes to Adit’s room and wakes him up. Mangal comes in.
