Concerned, Kapil cancels his meetings and decides to visit Mangal. Sensing trouble, Pratima nervously offers to join him, fearing Mangal might expose her knowledge of the late-night departure.
At the hospital, the doctor examines Mangal and informs Adit that she’s stable but had ingested a high dose of sleeping pills, causing her dizziness. As Kapil and Pratima arrive, shock washes over Kapil seeing Mangal unconscious. Adit explains the situation, and Kusum adds that Mangal hadn’t woken up, prompting the doctor’s visit. When Mangal finally stirs, Kapil rushes to her side. The doctor confirms the sleeping pill overdose, advising hydration before leaving.
Adit questions Mangal about the pills, recalling how cheerful she seemed at the party. Mangal is stunned—how did Adit know about the party? He explains that when Akshat fell ill and Mangal didn’t answer her phone, he went to the venue but was forcibly removed by guards. Kapil is furious at the guards’ behavior, while Pratima defends them, citing Adit’s past outbursts.
Kapil asks Mangal if she regularly takes sleeping pills. She denies it, recalling that Pratima had given her a tablet the previous night, after which she felt drowsy and left for Akshat. Sowmya’s suspicion flares—why would Pratima give her a sleeping pill? Confronted, Pratima claims it was an innocent mistake. The tension escalates when they realize Mangal has slipped away.
Mangal checks on Akshat, who asks to watch TV. Kapil apologizes for Pratima’s actions and regrets not escorting her home. Mangal brushes it off, relieved that Akshat’s fever has subsided. Meanwhile, Sowmya accuses Pratima of deliberate sabotage.
Kusum stops Pratima, urging her to treat Mangal as a daughter-in-law, not an outsider. Pratima fires back, reminding Kusum of her own past cruelty—accusing Mangal of her father’s death and banishing her for months. The bitter exchange leaves Pratima storming off. Later, Akshat apologizes to Kapil for his earlier harsh words, and Kapil reassures him—they’re buddies, after all.
In a surprising move, Pratima presents Mangal with a Shagun ki Thaal and requests she observe the Teej fast for Kapil. Mangal agrees, unaware of any ulterior motives. Meanwhile, Mangal’s staff informs her that Kapil canceled her Ghaziabad client meeting. Determined, she insists on going herself. Adit, overhearing, declares he’ll join her—setting the stage for another clash of intentions.
