Kapil notices the lights on and finds Mangal asleep in his room. Thinking she must be exhausted from tending to Akshat and then rushing over for him, he gently covers her with a duvet, turns on the AC, switches off the lights, and softly wishes her good night before leaving.
While deeply asleep, Mangal dreams of Akshat in pain and suddenly jolts awake. Disoriented and dizzy, she realizes she’s at Kapil’s house. Concerned that her phone is dead and the medicine hasn’t helped, she attempts to leave. Pratima tries to stop her, urging her to wait until morning. But Mangal insists, saying her son is unwell. Pratima, surprised the sleeping pill hasn’t worked, is unable to hold her back.
Meanwhile, Adit and Kusum care for a sick Akshat. Kusum tries to feed him, but he refuses, saying he wants his mother. Kusum assures him Mangal will return soon. Akshat vomits, and the two try to comfort him.
Outside, a dizzy Mangal struggles to find an auto and begins walking home. At home, Kusum worries about her absence, but Adit angrily remarks that Mangal is too caught up in her new life. On the road, Mangal trips, falls, and loses consciousness.
Back home, Adit vents about Mangal’s absence. Sowmya tells him to stop blaming her and kicks him out of the room. A moving vehicle wakes Mangal, and she resumes her walk home. Adit, feeling overwhelmed, worries for Akshat’s health and Mangal’s absence.
Eventually, Mangal arrives home in a disheveled state. Adit is shocked as she rushes to Akshat, gives him his medicine, and tries to stay awake. After putting him to sleep, she collapses. Adit catches her, lays her down, and tends to her. Kusum watches emotionally, seeing Adit care for Mangal for the first time and wondering why—now that Mangal is slipping away.
The next morning, Kusum reminds Adit about his interview. As he prepares, a bouquet and message from Kapil arrive, which he angrily discards. When Kusum asks about it, Adit bitterly replies that it was meant for someone who’s already left the house.
He checks on Akshat and finds Mangal still asleep beside him. Sowmya sarcastically remarks on his gaze, and Adit responds that he came to check on Akshat. When they try waking Mangal, she doesn’t respond. Growing concerned, Sowmya wonders what truly happened to Mangal at Kapil’s house.
