Adit receives a call from Mangal while Sowmya worries about him prioritizing the call over admitting Kusum to the hospital. As Sowmya touches a Chunri, Kusum lashes out at her. Adit interrupts, informing the doctor that Kusum is experiencing panic attacks. The doctor assures Adit that they can handle her condition and takes Kusum for treatment. Sowmya advises Adit to delay talking to Mangal, and Adit, distressed over his mother’s condition, hugs her for comfort.
Upon returning home, Mangal questions Adit about Kusum’s whereabouts. Adit claims that Kusum has gone to Brindavan with Vandana aunty, a name unfamiliar to Mangal. Suspicious, Mangal questions why Kusum left her phone behind, but Adit, frustrated, brushes off her concerns and leaves. Sowmya supports Adit, telling Mangal she has no right to question him.
Mangal grows anxious and tries to ask Sudesh about Kusum, but Sudesh avoids answering, claiming to feel unwell. Meanwhile, Kusum is shown in a mental asylum, where she gets into an altercation with another patient, leading the staff to administer shock treatment. Mangal overhears Adit’s phone call with the hospital staff and discovers that Kusum has been admitted to a mental asylum by Adit.
In another storyline, Jia offers Lakshmi a gift to secure Karthik’s release from jail, only for Lakshmi to find divorce papers inside. Jia urges Lakshmi to sign them and even presents a Rs. 5 lakh pen for the occasion. Enraged, Lakshmi tears the papers, refusing to divorce Karthik and arguing with Jia about her loyalty.
