An employee informs Kapil that the client will join the meeting in five minutes. Meanwhile, Mangal places coffee on the meeting room table. Both Adit and Kapil reach for it, but Kapil grabs it first, teasing Adit by asking if he thought the coffee was meant for him. Kapil takes a sip, saying there’s no need to stress over preparing coffee. Mangal casually responds that it’s just a two-minute task. Kapil compliments her coffee, admitting he looks forward to meetings just to enjoy it, and thanks her warmly. Mangal replies with a polite “You’re welcome.” Adit watches this exchange and reflects on how he used to insult Mangal over coffee. Kapil suggests that Adit can have coffee from the canteen instead, and Adit agrees, stepping outside while resolving to stay focused on building his business.
Meanwhile,
Adit fetches coffee from the canteen but burns his tongue as it’s too hot. Kapil lightly comments on his situation. The meeting begins, and Kapil announces that their new “Pehla Swaad” branch will open in Delhi the next day, earning applause from everyone. Adit congratulates the team. Kapil tells Adit that he’s lucky to work under Mangal, a successful entrepreneur, and assigns him the responsibility of promoting the Delhi branch. Mangal insists she can manage alone, but Kapil explains that Adit needs to learn from her to establish his own business. He requests Mangal to mentor Adit, and she agrees, beginning to delegate tasks to him.
Back at Pratima’s place, she tries to show Kusum a photo of her future daughter-in-law, but the phone is switched off due to low battery. Pratima decides to charge it. At home, Kamala urges Akshat to eat, but he refuses, wanting his mother’s homemade food. Sowmya arrives and scolds Akshat, ordering Kamala to prepare noodles for him and warning against any more noise. As Kamala cooks, Akshat tricks her into letting him use her phone to call Mangal. When Kamala tries to take the phone back, it falls. Sowmya, furious, forces Akshat to eat the noodles as Mangal hears everything over the call and immediately rushes out of the meeting, to Adit’s silent annoyance.
Kusum returns home and tries to calm Sowmya, who insists she’s acting for Akshat’s good, claiming she doesn’t want him to grow up weak like his mother. Kusum worries, thinking Lakshmi was supposed to arrive today, and silently prays for help. Sowmya tries to drag Akshat to the bathroom as punishment, but Mangal arrives just in time and rescues him. Akshat clings to Mangal, saying he was scared. Mangal assures him that he is safe now, surprising Kusum.
Sowmya, enraged, tells Mangal she has no right to interfere and orders her to leave. Mangal firmly addresses Sowmya by name, stunning her. When Sowmya demands respect, Mangal retorts that respect must be earned and declares that Akshat’s real mother is alive and will make decisions for him. Sowmya argues that since Akshat is living under her roof, she has the authority, but Mangal warns her not to raise her voice.
At that moment, Adit arrives home and is stunned to see Mangal there. Mangal tells him about Sowmya’s mistreatment of Akshat. When Sowmya demands that Adit tell Mangal she’s not allowed to meet the children, Mangal calmly reveals that Adit had already given her permission, leaving Sowmya speechless.
