Mangal arrives at Kapil’s dinner party, bringing a smile to his face as he proudly introduces her to his mentor, Mr. Varma, and friends. Meanwhile, Pratima reflects on her strategy, believing she did right by involving Shanti. Shanti confronts Mangal, criticizing her for not prioritizing Kapil and advising her to balance work and personal life before sending her into the party.
Just as Mangal pulls Kapil aside to talk about Akshat, Pratima deliberately drops a bowl of fruit cream to divert attention. Mangal rushes to check on her, and Pratima laments the loss of her dessert, subtly suggesting it be ordered from outside. Mangal volunteers to prepare it herself and heads to the kitchen—exactly as Pratima intended.
Later, the delicious aroma from the kitchen catches everyone’s attention. Mangal brings out kheer and halwa, earning praise from Mr. Varma, who compliments her culinary skills. When Mangal expresses her desire to leave, Pratima persuades her to stay a bit longer, reminding her how happy Kapil is. She then instructs Mrs. Varma to keep Mangal engaged while she slips away.
Meanwhile, Akshat wakes up at home and is frightened by Sowmya’s eerie presence. He falls and injures himself while trying to get water. Adit rushes to him as Akshat cries for Mangal. Adit tries to call her, but Pratima intercepts the call and hides her phone. Growing anxious about Akshat’s fever, Adit turns to Kusum for help and steps out to call Mangal again.
Back at the party, Mangal and Kapil share a cheerful moment as Mr. Varma compliments her again. Just then, Adit arrives and sees them, but Pratima quickly instructs the guards not to let him in. Mangal starts feeling unwell with a headache, and Pratima urges her to sit down and rest. The guards force Adit to leave.
As the evening winds down, Mangal decides to call Kusum to check on Akshat but discovers her phone is dead. Pratima offers her a headache pill and suggests she rest. Mangal begins feeling dizzy, unaware of what’s happening at home. Pratima, meanwhile, silently vows to make Mangal stay the night, determined to prove that her place should be with Kapil, not Adit.
At home, Adit remembers the humiliation at the party gates. He sees Akshat constantly asking for Mangal. When Kusum asks if she’s coming, Adit silently nods no. Despite Akshat’s reluctance to leave without his mother, Adit tries to arrange a home visit from a doctor but is told it isn’t possible. As Akshat’s fever continues to rise, Adit grows increasingly desperate—while Mangal lies disoriented and helpless on the sofa at Kapil’s party.
