Mangal enters Adit’s room, urging him to open up and relieve himself of the emotional weight she senses he’s carrying. Adit insists he has no such burden and asks her to leave him alone, but Mangal reminds him that his family feels his sadness too and their happiness is tied to his. Despite her efforts, Adit remains withdrawn and repeats his request for solitude, so Mangal leaves and signals Kusum to see Adit. Kusum comforts Adit, wiping his tears and assuring him that he is surrounded by family, while Mangal watches, deeply moved.
Meanwhile, Pratima advises Bua Dadi against worrying needlessly, fearing it will affect her health. Bua Dadi reprimands Pratima for picking Mangal for Kapil, warning her about the consequences if she fails to meet the condition set for a wedding. She instructs Bijli to call Mangal, but Akshat answers the phone and relays that Mangal is with Adit, angering Bua Dadi. She scolds Pratima for allowing Mangal in her first husband’s room and demands the promise be fulfilled by the next day. Akshat informs Mangal of Bua Dadi’s call, and she reassures him she’ll handle the situation just as Kapil tries to contact her.
Pratima questions whether Bua Dadi’s demands are excessive, but Bua Dadi insists the step is necessary and directs that Mangal comply, keeping Kapil out of it since he’s out of town. Pratima reluctantly agrees, anxious about Mangal’s reaction.
The next morning, Kusum sees Adit sleeping on the sofa and feels concerned. Elsewhere, Mangal prepares tiffin, remembering her previous confrontation with Sowmya, and Akshat excitedly requests tiffin, which she gives him for after the pooja. Kusum later brings Mangal aarti and a new saree, explaining she gave new clothes to the kids and wanted Mangal to have something new too. Though Kusum starts to offer advice on food, she stops, she says that Mangal’s new mother-in-law will guide her now. Mangal asserts that no one can replace Kusum.
Bua Dadi checks on the pooja arrangements with the pandit, while Pratima nervously worries that if Mangal learns the real reason for the ritual, trouble will erupt.
