The police inspector announces that if any theft occurs in the house, suspicion will naturally fall first on those living there. Kusum immediately insists she had no role in the theft. The inspector then questions Sowmya, who is startled when the officer claims that in many families, a newly arrived daughter-in-law sometimes hires goons to trouble the older one—just like in TV serials. Sowmya is taken aback. The inspector tells her not to panic, adding that real-life situations often mirror what happens on screen.
Sowmya worries about making it to the competition on time. The inspector notices her tense expression and asks the reason. Sowmya lies, saying she has a doctor’s appointment and needs to leave urgently. The inspector allows her to go, and Sowmya rushes away.
She reaches the competition venue just in time. The organizers ask her not to run, considering her condition, but Sowmya explains that she was simply late.
She asks a staff member if Mangal hasn’t arrived yet. The staff member says Mangal is already present and points her out. The production manager praises Mangal for attending despite her injury. Mangal politely compliments the show.
The team begins preparing to welcome the chief guest, Bhabhi ji.
Seeing an opportunity, Sowmya plots to have Mangal thrown out. She approaches Mangal, holding her stomach and pretending to be in pain. She requests Mangal to hold her juice glass for a moment. Mangal agrees. When Sowmya spots Bhabhi ji approaching the stairs, she quickly asks Mangal to return the glass. As Mangal steps forward, Sowmya intentionally trips her, causing the juice to spill all over Bhabhi ji.
Enraged, Bhabhi ji orders the team to remove Mangal from the competition. Mangal apologizes repeatedly, begging them not to disqualify her.
Bhabhi ji, still angry, asks for her second dress so the event can proceed on time. The team rushes to fetch it. Mangal pleads again, explaining she is participating for her children and asking for another chance. Bhabhi ji coldly states that she dislikes people who use emotional stories for sympathy and reminds her that this is a competition—not a charity program. Mangal calmly says she understands and only wants one opportunity to prove her skill.
Bhabhi ji finally relents and gives her one last chance—calling it a “do or die” moment—and instructs all contestants to listen to the rules carefully and follow them perfectly.
The contestants receive their uniforms. The anchor instructs everyone to change and return to the stage. Mangal hesitates when she sees how short and modern the outfit is. Bhabhi ji tells her she may leave the competition if the outfit bothers her, repeating the same to the rest of the group. Sowmya smirks, certain that Mangal will never wear such clothes. All contestants go to change.
A short while later, everyone returns—except Mangal. Bhabhi ji questions her absence. Sowmya confidently says Mangal won’t come because she dislikes modern outfits. Bhabhi ji reprimands her for speaking negatively about others.
Just then, the anchor announces the arrival of the final contestant. Mangal walks in wearing the uniform confidently, leaving Sowmya shocked and disappointed.
Bhabhi ji reminds everyone that punctuality is mandatory—any delay will result in elimination. She asks if the contestants are ready. They all agree, and she leads them to the kitchen station. The anchor explains that the world-class kitchen is equipped with advanced appliances and asks everyone to stand at their assigned cooking counters.
Sowmya glances at Mangal and comments that once again, they have ended up in the same place—side by side, ready to compete.
