Mangal assures Adit that she will take good care of the children, but her promise is interrupted by Ishana’s unexpected arrival with Sowmya. Ishana confronts Mangal, asking, “Really, Mumma?” Surprised, Mangal questions why she’s there, and Ishana replies that she came because Mangal had called her. Sowmya reminds Mangal of her past claim that nothing was more important than her children—so why did she abandon them? Sowmya insists she stepped up in Mangal’s absence and now refuses to let her break the new family they’ve built. Her words leave Mangal and Kusum stunned.
Meanwhile, Pratima tends to Kapil’s injuries and questions why he risked himself. Kapil says he did it for Mangal. Pratima, noticing his fear of blood, points out that it wasn’t duty but love that motivated him. Uncomfortable, Kapil dismisses the topic and walks away.
Back at home, Mangal asks Ishana if she truly believes she abandoned her. She emotionally insists she never could, but Ishana holds her ground, saying Mangal did leave and now wants custody. She challenges Mangal, asking, “What if we don’t want to come with you?” and tells her to stop blaming Sowmya. Mangal tearfully admits her mistakes and the pain her decisions caused. She pleads for forgiveness and promises to earn back Ishana’s trust, declaring she will now stay in the house to be with her children. Sowmya is shocked.
Angrily, Sowmya asserts that the house belongs to her and won’t allow Mangal to stay. Mangal counters that the house is Kusum’s and accuses Sowmya of breaking, not building, a home. She pleads with Kusum for a chance to stay and care for her children. Touched, Kusum agrees, saying she understands a mother’s pain and that Adit only wants the kids’ happiness. She allows Mangal to stay, and Mangal thanks her with gratitude.
Later, Mangal lights a diya before Maata Rani, praying for the strength to protect her family. Elsewhere, Sowmya drops and shatters a wedding photo of herself and Adit. Silently, she picks up the broken frame and walks away.
Adit follows, trying to calm her down. Sowmya accuses Mangal of returning to ruin their lives. Adit reassures her, reminding her that it was Mangal who saved Ishana. He urges Sowmya to be patient and warns that pushing Mangal out could cost them custody. Reluctantly, Sowmya agrees to cooperate—for now—but secretly vows to act when the time is right.
