Shanti discusses Mangal’s upcoming marriage with her, calling it beneficial and making a light remark. Mangal deflects, urging Shanti to focus on recovery first. Shanti insists she needs to get better soon to prepare for Mangal’s wedding. Just then, the doctor informs Shanti she is recovering well and will be discharged soon. Shanti and Mangal thank him.
Meanwhile, Adit receives a call from the bank about a personal loan, which Sowmya answers. Upon learning about the loan, she confronts Adit, accusing him of taking it for Mangal and even spending the night with her. She bitterly reveals she had worked overtime while he was away. Sowmya argues that she would be the one repaying the loan and expresses her frustration. Adit clarifies he only considered the loan and hasn’t taken it. He then reveals that Shanti had a heart attack. Sowmya questions who arranged the money and taunts him about Kapil being Mangal’s boyfriend. Adit gets upset, denying any such relationship and defending Mangal’s values, saying she would never marry lightly. He walks away, leaving Sowmya hurt and furious.
Later, Pratima visits Shanti, who excitedly announces that Mangal has agreed to marry Kapil. Pratima is thrilled and asks how Shanti convinced her. Shanti suspects her illness may have been the reason and makes a thoughtful comment. When Pratima tells Kapil the news, he is pleased and says he will speak to Mangal privately. Sensing Mangal’s discomfort, he decides to wait and instead offers to drop her and Shanti home.
On the way home, Mangal receives a call from Akshat, who asks when she will return. She tells him she’ll stay with Shanti for a few days. Kusum also checks in and mentions Sudesh misses her. Mangal assures she’ll return once Shanti is better. Meanwhile, Shanti, now seeing Mangal as her future daughter-in-law, begins planning ways to keep her away from Adit.
At home, Mangal starts tidying the room, noticing it was left open the previous night. As Kapil leaves, Mangal fetches water. Upon returning, she sees the ceiling fan about to fall on Shanti and warns her—but the fan still crashes down.
