Adit witnesses Kapil comforting Mangal. Grateful, Mangal expresses her inability to repay the ₹8 lakh he spent. Kapil downplays it, saying they’re friends and reminds her how much she helped his mother. Despite the generous gesture, Adit feels uneasy seeing the money exchange.
Meanwhile, Sowmya wonders why Adit isn’t returning her calls. She overhears Kusum urging Adit to stay with Mangal, which enrages her. Storming out, Sowmya drinks wine, vowing to ruin Mangal’s happiness, convinced she’s stealing Adit away.
At the hospital, chaos unfolds as Shanti refuses surgery. Mangal pleads with her to cooperate, but Shanti insists she’ll only agree if Mangal promises to marry Kapil. Mangal deflects the conversation, but Shanti stands firm. Distraught, Mangal breaks down before the idol of Maata Rani. As Kapil and Adit approach to comfort her, she tells them to leave her alone. The doctor urges Mangal to talk to her mother again. Mustering courage, Mangal finally gives in, telling Shanti she’ll do whatever she wants to save her. Shanti insists it’s all for her future. The surgery proceeds, and Mangal, overwhelmed, remembers her mother’s condition and struggles to speak to Kapil.
Sowmya wakes up with a hangover as Adit returns home. She quickly hides her disheveled state and lashes out at him when he questions her absence. Adit explains he was at the hospital with Mangal, admitting Shanti for surgery, which further fuels Sowmya’s anger. After surgery, Shanti thanks Mangal for saving her and reiterates that both she and Pratima support the marriage, claiming it’s all for Mangal’s good.
