Kapil praises Ishana for speaking the truth and informs her that the real culprit has been arrested. He asks her to promise never to lie again, and she agrees. He then commends Mangal for her values, appreciating her for choosing honesty over hiding Ishana’s mistake. Mangal replies that as a mother, her daughter’s mistakes are her own, and she only did what was right.
Later, Kusum urges Mangal to reconsider breaking off her engagement with Kapil, calling him a good man. Mangal, however, expresses concern for Ishana. Kusum reminds her that it was Ishana who wronged Kapil, and despite that, Kapil remained calm. Overhearing this, Ishana acknowledges her mistake and tells Mangal that Kapil is indeed a good man.
Encouraged by everyone, Ishana asks Kapil to place the ring back on Mangal’s
Kapil tells Mangal the decision is hers. With encouragement from Akshat, Ishana, and Shanti, Mangal smiles and accepts. Kapil places the ring on her finger, and she reciprocates—reigniting their engagement amid applause. While the family celebrates, Adit looks disheartened, and Sowmya thinks that with this, Mangal will soon be out of her life.
Later, Pratima visits Kapil and Mangal at the office, informing them that Mr. Varma, Kapil’s boss and mentor, has arrived in Delhi. She wants to host a dinner so Varma and Kapil’s friends can meet Mangal before the wedding. Though Mangal hesitates, Pratima insists, and Mangal agrees. Kapil reminds her to be punctual, as Varma is strict with time.
Back home, as Mangal rushes to get ready, Akshat plays loudly and irritates Sowmya, who sees Mangal’s dinner plan as a chance to strike. She slyly adds medicine to Akshat’s milk. Just as Mangal is about to leave, Akshat clutches his stomach and starts crying. Kusum tries to remind her of her dinner plans, but Akshat begs her not to leave. Realizing he has a fever, Mangal chooses to stay and tend to him.
At the dinner, Kapil and Pratima welcome Varma and guests, who are eager to meet Mangal. She calls Kapil to inform him that she can’t attend because Akshat is unwell. Kapil supports her decision. However, Pratima is visibly upset, wondering why Mangal doesn’t understand their situation. When Varma inquires about Kapil’s fiancée, Kapil deflects.
Determined not to let Kapil face public embarrassment again, Pratima visits Mangal’s home. Just as Mangal notices Akshat’s fever subsiding, she turns—and finds Pratima standing at the door.
