Mangal delivers an idol to an elderly man’s house, and he blesses her for her kindness. Meanwhile, Kusum is shocked to discover her hair has been cut short at the salon. She confronts the beautician, who explains that Kusum Malhotra had booked a bob cut appointment. Realizing the mix-up, Kusum clarifies that she is Kusum Saxena. Sowmya finds the situation amusing, laughing as Kusum cries, worrying about how Mangal will react to her new look. She decides not to go, while the manager scolds the beautician for not verifying client details.
Mangal calls Kusum, asking her to manage the stage until she arrives. Still upset, Kusum tells her she can’t go due to her haircut, but Mangal, unable to hear properly, encourages her to handle the show, reminding her they need to make Ishana proud. Kusum breaks down.
At the event, the judges refuse to invest in Niketan’s product, and the competition team considers disqualifying Mangal due to her absence. Kusum arrives with her head covered, insisting Mangal will come. The team urges her to present Mangal’s idea. During a break, the judges question why Kusum is presenting instead of Mangal. The anchor announces that Mangal’s mother-in-law is stepping in for her.
Kusum struggles to open the product, drawing laughter from the audience. One judge asks her to continue, while others argue for disqualification. As the anchor teases the results, the judges prepare to disqualify Mangal—until she arrives just in time. Mangal questions Kusum’s covered face, but the judges interrupt, demanding an explanation for her tardiness. Sidhant pleads with the judges to give Mangal a chance, but they refuse and disqualify both Mangal and Kusum. Heartbroken, Mangal feels devastated by the outcome.
Meanwhile, Jia pressures Raghuveer to apply sindoor to Lakshmi’s hairline, but Lakshmi resists. Sensing the tension, Gayatri steps in and applies the sindoor herself. Jia then insists that Lakshmi leave with Raghuveer. Karthik intervenes, stating that Lakshmi can stay as long as she wants. Confronting her, he asks why she refuses to return to Raghuveer. Raghuveer assures Lakshmi she can follow her heart and come to him when she’s ready. Thanking everyone, he leaves. Karthik then pulls Gayatri aside for a private conversation.
Later, Lakshmi confronts Jia for interfering in her life. Jia, defiant, declares that she will never let Lakshmi and Karthik be close. Umesh criticizes Gayatri for being unfair, but she defends her actions, believing she is doing what’s best. Jia pressures Karthik to reconcile Lakshmi and Raghuveer, and he hesitantly agrees.
Jia then pretends to help Lakshmi pack, but Lakshmi sees through the act and tells her to drop the drama. Jia coldly states that Lakshmi is going back to Raghuveer’s house. Lakshmi firmly declares that this is her home and no one can throw her out—not even Jia. She insists that nothing can separate her from Karthik.
Jia reminds Lakshmi that she left Karthik’s room and will soon leave the house too, revealing that Karthik has gone to meet Raghuveer. Shocked, Lakshmi rushes out, while Jia continues packing her belongings. Lakshmi confronts Gayatri, demanding to know why Karthik went to see Raghuveer. Desperate, she pleads for Gayatri’s help, but Gayatri coldly turns away, refusing to intervene.

Gayatri is plotting with Jia to separate Karthik and Lakshmi. If she didn’t want her son with Lakshimi she shouldn’t have gotten them married. She acts like her son is her husband instead of he son. Lakshimi needs to quit going along with them and tell him the truth. She is really stupid to listen to her mother in law or Jia. The father should tell him the truth he sees it is wrong what they are doing to Lakshimi.
Mama Gayatri is one of the more appalling characters on a show already dominated by the repellent Jia and Sowmya. The writers should show some mercy on the viewing audience, who have grown weary of the utterly vile Jia and Sowmya getting away with their non-stop crime wave and savagery. It would have helped recently if Sowmya could have been exposed for destroying Mangal’s appearance on television. It would be refreshing if Raghuveer could shut down Jia and Gayatri by making sure that Jia finally receives a one-way ticket to the nearest Indian state prison. Gayatri needs professional intervention for her psycho-s*xual obsession with her son Karthik that leads her to sabotage poor Lakshmi at each step of the show.
