Neel taunts Mangal, saying mockingly, “Seems like you’re new here. Be careful around me.” Shanti overhears and scolds him, questioning his manners and upbringing. Mangal retorts sharply, “It’s not the mother who gives a wrong upbringing, it’s the son who chooses wrong ways.” Her words anger Neel, and he storms off in frustration.
The next morning, Mangal is busy preparing food. With a hopeful smile, she asks Shanti to bless her for greater success. Shanti warmly assures her, “My blessings are always with you,” and compliments the aroma of the food. Nearby, Ishana is practicing her dance steps. Mangal brings in the freshly cooked dishes, and Ishana sets aside her routine to dance joyfully with her mother. They share a tender, carefree moment together. Ishana excitedly says she recorded the dance on her phone, but when she checks, the video isn’t there — her phone has malfunctioned. Mangal immediately offers to buy her a new one, but Ishana gently declines, saying it isn’t necessary.
Later, Shanti informs Mangal that all arrangements for the food orders have been completed. As Mangal counts the money, Shanti teasingly asks if she plans to spend it already. Mangal explains emotionally, “Ishana’s phone is broken, but she didn’t even ask me to replace it. I just want my children to know that leaving their father to come with me wasn’t a mistake. That’s why I accepted this catering order — to make them proud.” Shanti blesses her again, reassuring her that she will soon receive many more orders. However, Mangal suddenly feels as though someone is watching them, but when she looks outside, no one is there.
Meanwhile, at the Saxena house, Kusum reminds Adit that they need silver coins for the Choti Diwali pooja for the children. She admits she forgot to arrange them, as Mangal used to handle it every year. Adit offers to get the coins, but before he can, Sowmya arrives with three silver coins — one each for Ishana, Akshat, and her unborn baby. She expresses her gratitude, saying, “You all forgave my mistakes and accepted me back into this home; that’s all I could ask for.”
Later, Akshat curiously asks Mangal why she performs the Choti Diwali pooja every year. She smiles and replies softly, “It’s for your happiness and safety.” Elsewhere, a worker shows some evidence to a mysterious woman, revealing that Mangal has returned. Shocked, the woman panics, saying, “If she’s back, our secret could come out! How did this happen?” Meanwhile, Neel secretly spies on Mangal, keeping a close eye on her movements. Though Mangal again senses someone’s presence, she doesn’t catch sight of Neel lurking nearby.
Back at the Saxena home, Kusum asks Adit to use lotus flowers for the Lakshmi pooja. Sowmya approaches Adit and admits, “I know you’re angry with me, and you’re right to be. My child can never replace Akshat or Ishana. But for the sake of this baby, please place this lotus at Maa Lakshmi’s feet.” Adit quietly agrees and performs the ritual.
In Mussoorie, Mangal performs her own pooja and steps out carrying the aarti plate. Suddenly, Neel bumps into her, causing the plate to fall to the ground. Mangal scolds him for making her drop it, but Neel responds rudely. Akshat steps forward to defend her, saying, “You’re the one who pushed my mom!” Mangal stops the argument, saying it’s pointless, and goes to the kitchen. Shanti joins her, mentioning that she forgot something in the fridge. While they’re away, Neel sneaks inside and drops a lizard into the sambar. Hearing footsteps, he hides as Mangal and Shanti return. Shanti blesses Mangal again before she leaves to deliver the food.
Mangal heads out with the orders, and Shanti encourages her, “Don’t worry, Maata Rani will protect you.” However, disaster strikes soon after — a woman at the dhaba screams that there’s a lizard in the food. Shock spreads among the customers as they accuse Mangal of negligence. Horrified, Mangal insists, “I cooked everything carefully — there must be some mistake!” But the angry crowd doesn’t believe her. One man threatens, “We’ll file a case against you for risking lives. If it’s proven true, you’ll be forced to leave this city!” Mangal stands frozen in disbelief as Neel watches from a distance, smirking with satisfaction at the chaos he created.
