As Adit prepares for an interview, Sowmya arrives with divorce papers, asking him to sign them and get Mangal’s signature as well. Focused on his preparations, Adit sets the papers aside. Kusum later finds them and, worried about Adit divorcing Mangal, decides to dispose of them.
Meanwhile, Sudesh urges Mangal to expose Niketan, but she refuses, unwilling to go against Kusum. Akshat overhears their conversation. Kusum, determined to get rid of the divorce papers, hides them among school documents, planning to burn them later.
Sowmya declares herself the new daughter-in-law and insists on handling the Navratri pooja preparations, but Mangal asserts her position and insists on doing it herself. Kusum, worried about the divorce papers, hesitates but agrees to go to the market with Sowmya.
Later, Mangal accidentally scatters some papers while organizing documents. At the same time, she learns Akshat didn’t return home with Ishana and rushes to find him. She discovers him crying in the park, distressed by being called the son of a murderer. Akshat pleads with Mangal to prove her innocence, convincing her to take a stand. Unbeknownst to her, Akshat and Sudesh have staged this moment to push her into action.
Determined, Mangal promises to expose the truth. The next day, during the Kalash Sthapana ritual, she prays for the strength to prove her innocence, while Adit seeks strength for his family. Kusum prays for Mangal and Adit’s reunion, whereas Sowmya prays for their separation.
