Mangal is busy cleaning her house for Diwali when Shanti praises her for remaining kind and helpful, even after moving to a new city. She wonders what Mangal gains by doing everything herself. Smiling warmly, Mangal replies, “I have you all.” Shanti notices that Mangal gave leave to the worker yet is cleaning herself and asks why. Mangal explains that the worker is already tired from cleaning other houses, so she wanted to let her rest. Shanti insists on helping, but Mangal reassures her that she can manage.
Soon, Akshat and Ishana arrive to help. Mangal encourages Ishana to focus on her dance practice, expressing her wish for Ishana to become the best dancer. Ishana begins practicing, and whenever she forgets a step, Mangal patiently guides her. The family enjoys a cheerful time together until the doorbell rings.
Meanwhile, Mangal heads to her dhaba, preparing food for customers, delivering orders, collecting payments, and returning to clean the place. The bell rings again, and Shanti opens the door, excitedly revealing that she has been waiting for someone. When Mangal inquires, Shanti explains she hired the neighbor’s worker to clean the outer area and urges Mangal not to refuse. Mangal agrees.
Later, Akshat video calls Adit with Mangal’s permission, inviting him to Mussoorie for Diwali. Adit declines, citing work, and promises to connect on Diwali. He notices Akshat’s old clothes and offers to order new ones online, but Ishana reassures him that their mother already bought dresses they liked. Feeling guilty for underestimating Mangal’s ability to manage the kids, Adit ends the call.
Meanwhile, pregnant Sowmya performs an aarti for Adit. She later attempts to clean the house but nearly trips. Kusum intervenes in time, advising her to rest and take care of her unborn baby. Sowmya emotionally thanks Kusum for saving her and her child, recalling how Kusum had allowed her to stay despite Adit initially refusing her.
Back at the dhaba, the worker finishes her work. Mangal comes out with the payment and a box of sweets, shocking the worker, who hurriedly leaves. She calls someone, saying, “She’s back—I saw her.” On the other end, a woman instructs her to confirm if it is really the person they’re looking for.
Later, Mangal decorates the dhaba with rangoli and prepares the place for Diwali. Akshat praises her efforts, after which Mangal heads to the market, leaving him at the dhaba. Soon, Neel and his friends arrive, eat without paying, and threaten Akshat when he asks for money. They destroy the rangoli, harass him, and push him. Mangal arrives just in time, holding Akshat and warning Neel that his behavior is unacceptable. Neel threatens her not to interfere.
Meanwhile, the worker checks a file and finds Mangal’s details. She calls the woman again, reporting, “It’s the same person—she’s back after sixteen years. I just hope she doesn’t reveal what happened sixteen years ago.”
