Mangal counts the money she has saved for Neel’s school fees. Realising it is not enough, she resolves to win the Pehla Swad competition so she can pay the fees without taking help from anyone. She places the money inside a locker in her cupboard, unaware that robbers are secretly watching her.
Elsewhere, Ishana’s friends tell her that Neel is her cousin and point out how he is messing around with papers. Sowmya goes to Neel, scolding him to stop embarrassing her in front of her friends, and walks away. Neel remembers how Mangal forced him to join school against his will.
After locking the cupboard, Mangal spots the goons. She tries to shout for help, but one of them grabs her. They begin attempting to open the locker. Meanwhile, at school, Neel intentionally burns papers in a dustbin to create trouble and positions it near a fire alarm. The alarm goes off. The watchman arrives, extinguishes the fire, and wonders how it started.
Mangal tries to fight the robbers, but one of them threatens her with a knife. At school, Neel frightens the students and sends them home. Ishana stops him, accusing him of causing the fire and telling him that Mangal is working hard to educate him, but he is behaving like a goon. Neel warns her to stay away or face consequences.
Kusum comes to Mangal’s house to give sweets but is shocked to see the robbers. She attacks them, and Mangal joins the fight. The goons pretend to apologise, but then hold Kusum hostage. Mangal shouts at them. They push her violently; her head hits the table, and she collapses. The robbers flee with the money. Ishana arrives, horrified to find Mangal injured. Kusum tells her to call the doctor immediately.
The robbers meet Sowmya and inform her that Mangal is severely hurt and won’t be able to compete. Pleased, Sowmya gives them extra money for injuring Mangal. Later, she visits Mangal’s house. The doctor examines Mangal and warns that if she does not regain consciousness soon, they will have to move her to the hospital. Mangal eventually wakes up. Kusum emotionally tells her that staying separately with the children was a bad idea. Sowmya quickly interrupts, saying this is not the right time to discuss such matters.
The doctor advises Mangal to stay under observation for 72 hours. When Sowmya mentions that the first round of the Pehla Swad competition is tomorrow, Kusum firmly tells Mangal not to participate and instructs Ishana to withdraw her name.
Mangal files a police complaint. The inspector states that the locality is safe and it appears the robbery was deliberately planned. Mangal insists she has no enemies. He assures her the culprits will be caught. Before leaving for the competition, Sowmya asks Kusum to bless her, and Kusum obliges. Soon after, the police visit Kusum’s house to enquire about the robbery. Sowmya becomes anxious, worried that they might uncover evidence against her.
Mangal checks the time and says she must go to the competition. Ishana argues she is not well enough to participate. The inspector then tells Kusum that the robbery was clearly orchestrated by someone close to Mangal. Sowmya watches nervously.
Precap: Bhabhi Ji is invited as the judge for the competition, and she forms a team by pairing Mangal with Sowmya. Mangal firmly tells Sowmya that she does not wish to team up with her, but since they must compete together, they should focus on winning. She also warns Sowmya not to try any tricks. Sowmya agrees with a smile. Later, while Mangal is pouring hot water into a utensil, Sowmya deliberately nudges the electric kettle, causing the boiling water to splash into Mangal’s eyes.
