Adit saves Mangal just in time. As she looks at him, she asks if he was the one who rescued her. Before he can answer, Sowmya interjects, revealing that Mangal had sent a message to Adit, which she overheard and immediately informed him. A flashback shows Adit overhearing Mangal’s voice, questioning Sowmya about it, and then taking the phone. Adit explains that Sowmya saw the message in time, allowing them to rush to her aid. Mangal thanks her, but Sowmya secretly resents that Mangal survived. Meanwhile, Adit scolds the guards, but they blame Mangal for entering a crime scene.
Mangal then remembers the evidence she had gathered to prove her innocence. She frantically searches for it, only to find it shattered in the water tank, leaving her devastated. As Adit and Sowmya prepare to take her home, the media arrives, surrounding Mangal. Sowmya smirks, knowing she was the one who tipped them off. Reporters accuse Mangal of tampering with evidence, but she insists she was searching for proof of her innocence. The media refuses to believe her, labeling her a liar. Adit takes Mangal home.
At home, Sudesh expresses relief that Mangal is safe, but Sowmya warns that her actions have tarnished the family’s reputation. Kusum scolds Mangal for going to the crime scene, and Adit reprimands her as well. No one listens to Mangal’s explanations and instead demands she stop bringing shame to the family. Determined, Mangal vows to clear her and the family’s name, but Kusum declares that she is no longer the daughter she once knew. Heartbroken, Mangal promises not to leave the house again, assuring them they mean everything to her before embracing Kusum.
The next day, as Mangal prepares to leave for the temple, she notices people staring at her. She sees Sudesh eating sweets and warns him about his health. Sudesh uses an example to remind her that just as medicine is necessary despite its bitterness, she must fight to prove her innocence. Encouraged, Mangal resolves not to give up.
Just then, a speeding car approaches, and Mangal swiftly pulls Sudesh aside, saving him. Niketan steps out of the car and mocks her. She confronts him, accusing him of conspiring against her. Smirking, Niketan openly admits it, taunting her by saying she has no evidence to prove it. He belittles her, claiming housewives can never rise above their station. He leaves, and Sudesh urges Mangal to decide—will she surrender or fight back?
Meanwhile, Gayatri tells Karthik how Jia tormented her by forcing her to walk endlessly on the treadmill. However, Karthik refuses to believe her, convinced that Jia cares for her and had already informed him about the situation. When Jia arrives, she pretends to be hurt by the accusation. Karthik defends Jia, saying exercise is beneficial for Gayatri’s health. Changing the subject, he questions Gayatri’s support for Lakshmi and allowing her into their home. Gayatri insists Jia is lying, but Karthik refuses to listen and leaves.
Lakshmi confesses to Umesh that she cannot live without Karthik. Umesh advises her to talk to him and stop the wedding, as Karthik won’t listen to him. He promises to help her, and she thanks him.
Meanwhile, Jia attempts to steal the family’s heirloom jewelry from Gayatri. Lakshmi witnesses the act. Jia orders Radha to take the jewelry to her room, then takes the locker keys and walks away. Later, Umesh gifts Karthik a watch containing a hidden letter. Jia urges Karthik to open the gift. He thanks Umesh, who hopes Karthik will find the letter when he wears the watch. However, when Karthik puts it on, he doesn’t notice the letter, which falls unnoticed to the floor.
Lakshmi, preparing mehendi, cries as she thinks about Karthik. Meanwhile, Karthik, feeling restless, enters the kitchen and almost slips, but Lakshmi catches him, causing mehendi to smear onto both their hands. Karthik apologizes, but Lakshmi reassures him. Just then, Jia calls Karthik, and he leaves. Watching him go, Lakshmi believes Mata Rani has sent a sign—Karthik belongs to her, and she will fight for him.
