Sowmya accuses Mangal for Kusum’s sudden worsening health. Mangal confronts Sowmya, questioning why she would harm Kusum, who is like a daughter to her and someone she has always supported. Shanti informs them that Kusum has regained consciousness, but Kusum is terrified and accuses Mangal of trying to kill her, demanding that she leave the house. Mangal, shocked, resolves to uncover the truth. Meanwhile, Sowmya manipulates the situation, subtly blaming Mangal and provoking Adit against her. Although Adit consoles Kusum, he starts to doubt Mangal under Sowmya’s influence.
Mangal later confides in Shanti, expressing confusion about Kusum’s accusations, especially since she thought their relationship was fine after gifting her a saree. Sowmya, pretending to care for Kusum, continues to scheme, making Adit question Mangal’s intentions by suggesting jealousy was the motive for her alleged actions. Mangal, however, focuses on finding answers and discovers glass shards in the kitchen and a kite, which confirm that someone intentionally tried to harm Kusum.
Shanti suspects Sowmya’s involvement, believing she orchestrated the situation to frame Mangal. However, Mangal insists on concrete evidence before making accusations. Mangal later finds glass shards in Sowmya’s room and confronts her in front of everyone. Sowmya feigns innocence and claims Mangal is accusing her without reason, but Mangal points out the evidence.
Raghuveer pretends to be an exorcist, with Lakshmi posing as Gayathri’s ghost to scare Jia and her mother into confessing and withdrawing a case. However, the plan fails as Jia and her mother escape. The group blames one another for the failure while contemplating their next steps to free Karthik from jail. Lakshmi reflects on their inability to extract a confession, leaving the matter unresolved.
