Mangal contemplates how to secure Kapil’s bail. Adit approaches her, asking her to fix his misplaced buttons. Sowmya offers help, but Adit refuses. Kusum arrives, and Mangal urges her to assist Adit. Reluctantly, Adit calls Kusum “Amma,” and she happily helps him, leaving Adit feeling pleased.
Pratima, noticing Mangal’s preoccupation, calls her lawyer Sanvi about Kapil’s bail. Sanvi explains Kapil can’t be released unless the witness changes her statement. Pratima decides to get Kusum to sign a statement in Kapil’s favor and begins plotting his release.
While Kusum adjusts Adit’s shirt, he feels cheerful. Pratima calls Sowmya, but Adit picks up the phone. Sowmya scolds him and takes the call, learning that Pratima is preparing papers to secure Kapil’s bail. Sowmya hatches a plan to make Kusum believe Mangal tricked her, ensuring she’ll never forgive him.
Sowmya receives the papers and keeps them secret, giving Adit chocolates in exchange for a promise to stay quiet. Later, Adit nearly reveals the secret to Mangal, but Pehla Swad employees arrive, distracting her.
The employees, collecting donations for Ganpati Utsav, are welcomed by Kusum. Mangal donates in Kusum’s name and asks them to prepare the papers. Seizing the opportunity, Sowmya slips Pratima’s bail papers among the donation forms. Kusum signs them unknowingly, thanking Mangal for the chance. When the employees prepare to leave, Sowmya panics and cleverly retrieves the papers by making it seem accidental. She messages Pratima that she secured Kusum’s signature.
Meanwhile, Adit colors happily, ignoring his medicine. Sowmya scolds him and throws away his coloring book in frustration.
Mangal calls Sunita about attending an online meeting since Kapil is absent. Ishana then arrives to take Mangal away. Adit hides in a cupboard, pouring water on Sowmya from above. Mangal persuades Adit to come down by promising ice cream, and Adit happily obeys, giving her a high-five. Sowmya leaves in anger. Mangal reflects on the challenge: securing Kapil’s bail while managing Adit’s mischief.
