Jia pleads with the Inspector to release her, but they ignore her and take her to the police station. Karthik, finishing a song recording, sees her message and rushes to the station. Jia tells him she has been arrested, reminding him it violates their deal, and threatens to abort the baby if he does not secure her release. She pretends to feel nauseous. Karthik begs the Inspector, who shocks him by saying that since his wife filed the FIR, she must withdraw it for Jia to be released.
At home, Karthik confronts Lakshmi about having Jia arrested and worries about the baby. Lakshmi insists Jia is not carrying their child, claiming she is manipulating him. Karthik, recalling the sonography proof, refuses to believe her and warns that if anything happens to the baby, their relationship will be
The next day, Karthik tells Lakshmi that since it is Jia’s court hearing and she is carrying their baby, he will do anything to save her. Lakshmi urges him to trust her, but he leaves, determined. Meanwhile, in jail, Jia plots to break Karthik and Lakshmi’s relationship. She secretly consumes poison, causing herself to vomit foam. The police call Karthik, who rushes to the hospital, praying for the baby’s safety. At the hospital, the nurse says doctors are trying to save her. Lakshmi arrives, but Karthik blames her. The doctor informs Karthik that Jia has survived but suffered a miscarriage. Karthik is devastated. Lakshmi insists Jia was never pregnant, but Karthik refuses to believe her.
Walking away, Karthik tells Lakshmi their relationship is over and not to follow him. She runs after him, pleading, but he angrily rejects her. When he nearly has an accident, Lakshmi saves him, but he still blames her for the “baby’s death” and declares he hates her. Lakshmi tries to explain that Jia orchestrated the plan to separate them, but he refuses to listen. She collapses on the road, desperate to prove the truth.
At the hospital, Jia believes Karthik has fallen in love with a baby that never existed and vows not to let him stay with Lakshmi if she cannot have him.
At home, family members wonder why Karthik has locked himself in his room. Gayatri questions Lakshmi, who enters lifelessly. Umesh suspects Jia created a misunderstanding between them. Karthik cries while hugging toys, and Lakshmi cries alone in another room.
