She prays for divine intervention and tries to block the window to retain warmth, but her attempts fail. In her struggle, the table collapses, injuring her leg. Meanwhile, Sowmya questions Kusum about any news regarding Mangal’s whereabouts, but Kusum admits they haven’t yet. Adit mentions that security won’t allow them inside the hospital. Shanti expresses confusion about Mangal’s reasons for coming to the hospital, and Kusum observes that Mangal wasn’t there to buy medicine for them, especially since the children are fine. Sowmya suspects Mangal followed her to the hospital and may have overheard her discussing her sonography, as she is concerned about a possible pregnancy. Feeling cornered, Sowmya fears Mangal might expose her secret.
Lipika suggests checking the CCTV footage, but security refuses without permission. Sowmya supports the security’s stance, fearing exposure if the footage is reviewed. Adit grows impatient and leaves his contact information with the guards, but Sowmya insists on staying back, citing flimsy excuses. After sending Adit away, she diverts the security’s attention by smashing a car mirror with a stone, allowing her to sneak back into the hospital. Inside, Sowmya confirms Mangal is still trapped in the cold storage and rationalizes her actions, worrying that Mangal will reveal her lies if she escapes. As emotions flare, Mangal discovers a lighter under the table and uses it to light a fire, her last attempt at survival. Kusum consoles the children, promising them that Mangal will return.
Jia expresses guilt to her mother about Karthik’s imprisonment, blaming their failed plans. Her mother assures her they will come up with a new strategy. Umesh blames Gayathri for the complications, including giving a blank cheque to Jia and hiring an incompetent lawyer for Karthik. Gayathri defends herself, arguing that she acted out of desperation. Meanwhile, Jia manipulates the media to paint herself as a victim while hosting a Christmas party. Lakshmi, suspecting foul play, infiltrates the party disguised as a waiter. She manages to steal Jia’s phone but is almost caught when her disguise is compromised. However, a Santa Claus, later revealed to be Raghuveer in disguise, rescues her. Together, they vow to uncover the truth and save Karthik.
