Mangal questions Sudesh about the mark he drew on her hand, but from outside, Sowmya quickly warns Sudesh not to reveal anything. When Mangal looks towards the door, she finds no one there as Sowmya hides before she can be seen.
Meanwhile, Kusum goes to a shop to repair Adit and Mangal’s wedding photograph. Coincidentally, Bua Dadi arrives to get her picture with Kapil framed. The shopkeeper informs Kusum that the glass size for her frame is unavailable and promises to call once it arrives. Kusum explains that the photo is her only memory since she is arranging her daughter-in-law’s remarriage. Mocking her, Bua Dadi criticizes her for conducting a punar vivaah, but Kusum proudly says she considers her daughter-in-law a daughter and wants her to settle again. She leaves after handing over the photograph, but by mistake, the shopkeeper packs Adit and Mangal’s wedding photo with Bua Dadi’s order.
While tidying Akshat’s room, Mangal discovers old photographs and spots one showing Sowmya with a tattoo in the same place where Sudesh drew on her hand. Shocked, she realizes Sowmya may have deliberately pushed Sudesh from the cliff. She vows to uncover the truth, recalling past events. Later, Bua Dadi gives the mistakenly packed picture to Kapil as a gift. While she checks on a commotion caused by Bijli, and Kapil takes a call, the wedding photo is left on the table.
At home, Shanti gives Mangal shagun bangles, fearing bad omens, and requests her to make her wear them. Mangal cleverly asks Sowmya to wear the bangles instead, hoping to expose her. At the same time, Bua Dadi opens the photograph and is stunned to see Adit and Mangal’s wedding photo. Angrily, she accuses Mangal of trapping Kapil and vows to confront her, but Kapil admits he already knows Mangal was married and has two children. Bua Dadi is shocked and demands to know why Pratima hid this truth, while Bijli bluntly asks if Akshat is indeed Mangal’s son. Enraged, Bua Dadi declares Mangal can never become the Bhatnagar family’s daughter-in-law and calls off the marriage. Kapil, however, stands by Mangal, proclaiming that he will marry no one else but her, even if it means staying unmarried. Infuriated, Bua Dadi storms out, vowing to never allow the wedding while she lives.
Meanwhile, Mangal tries to force Sowmya to wear the bangles to expose her tattoo but sees none, leaving Sowmya smirking in triumph. Later, Sowmya accidentally injures her wrist with the bangles. When Mangal tries to help, Sowmya hurriedly leaves. Alone, she wipes her wrist, revealing that her tattoo was merely hidden, not gone. Watching this from afar, Mangal realizes Sowmya is concealing a dangerous secret and prays to Maata Rani for strength to uncover the truth.
