When the police demand to arrest someone over the drug charges, Mangal steps forward, telling them to take her instead. The inspector questions if she’s taking responsibility for the drugs, but Mangal firmly clarifies that she’s only taking responsibility for her staff. Despite her denial of involvement, the police arrest her. As they begin to leave, the staff attempt to intervene but are warned against interfering, or they too will be arrested. Amid the chaos, Ishana silently apologizes to Mangal, burdened with guilt, while Sowmya watches with quiet satisfaction, celebrating the arrest.
At the police station, Mangal is placed in a cell, confused and troubled, wondering how the drugs ended up in the food boxes she had packed herself. Soon, Adit arrives, urgently pleading with the inspector to release her, arguing that Mangal is innocent and being framed. The inspector refuses, stating there is evidence against her, but allows Adit to speak with Mangal.
When they meet, Adit questions her about what happened. Mangal admits she has no idea how the drugs got there. Adit voices his suspicion that Kapil is behind it, suggesting Kapil used his withdrawal from Pehla Swaad to distance himself from the fallout and exact revenge for Mangal’s rejection.
Kapil arrives unexpectedly and overhears Adit’s accusation. A confrontation ensues, with Kapil accusing Adit of twisting the truth — even suggesting that Adit himself could be the one setting Mangal up. Their argument intensifies until the inspector steps in to deescalate the scene.
Kapil then turns to Mangal and assures her that he will get her out on bail. Adit mocks his promise and reassures Mangal that he will handle the bail himself. However, the inspector warns that the court closes at 6 p.m. and won’t reopen for the next two days, complicating their attempts to secure her release.
Despite this, Kapil urges Mangal to stay strong before leaving, while Adit warns her not to trust Kapil and rushes out to make his own arrangements. Meanwhile, Ishana vents her frustration at Yash, accusing him of being responsible for Mangal’s arrest. Yash, unfazed, implies that Ishana is not innocent either and could end up behind bars. His words leave her shaken and guilt-ridden.
Later, Kapil contacts his lawyer, determined to secure Mangal’s bail at any cost. However, Pratima interrupts, showing him the news of the drug scandal tarnishing Pehla Swaad’s image. She warns him that helping Mangal could ruin his own reputation and career. When Kapil defends Mangal, Pratima silences him, making him swear on her to stay out of it.
Back at the police station, the Pehla Swaad staff arrive with bail money. Mangal, surprised, asks how they managed to gather the amount. Just then, Kusum walks in, holding the bail papers, bringing a glimmer of hope.
Precap: A technician informs Mangal that he has transferred the complete CCTV footage onto a pen drive and hands it to her for review. When Kusum asks about it, Mangal explains that it’s the godown footage, which will help them identify who planted the drugs in the box. Overhearing this, Ishana grows nervous.
