Adit informs Sowmya that her friend betrayed him by stealing his work. Shocked, Sowmya didn’t expect this. Kusum arrives and sarcastically questions if all of Sowmya’s friends are like this. Defending herself, Sowmya insists she was only trying to help Adit and asks if he had signed a contract. When Adit admits he hadn’t, he throws the papers in frustration, with one landing on Mangal’s food plate.
Later, while packing food, Mangal finds the paper and asks Adit about it. He dismisses it as a start-up application form and tells her to throw it away. Curious, Mangal inquires about start-ups, and Sowmya explains they involve new business ideas. Mangal wonders if her idea of drying food could qualify, but Sowmya and Adit mock her for thinking like a businesswoman. Letting it go, Mangal moves on.
While buying groceries, Mangal catches a vendor using a faulty scale and demands fairness. The staff of the Start-up Sultan show records her confident stance and later invites her to participate. Initially, she declines, but Ishana encourages her, and she decides to join.
At the competition venue, Mangal requests an application form but is mocked by the receptionist. However, the show’s videographer and staff confirm that she was invited, leading judge Sailaja to approve her enrollment. Excited, Mangal shares the news with Kusum, though Kusum worries about rising expenses. Before leaving, Mangal places her application form at God’s feet, which Sowmya notices.
Sowmya later instigates Adit, suggesting Mangal wants to succeed where he failed. Angered, Adit confronts Mangal, questioning why she didn’t consult him. Mangal, showing him their household bills, asserts she will seize any chance to support the family.
Meanwhile, Karthik sees Lakshmi and recalls past memories, worrying Jia. To distract him, Jia knocks over a candle, causing a fire. As Karthik extinguishes it, he burns his hand, leading Gayatri to order Lakshmi to stay away from him. Jia further fuels Gayatri’s anger, insisting Lakshmi will keep trying to make Karthik remember.
Enraged, Gayatri storms into Lakshmi’s room, packs her bags, and demands she leave. Lakshmi pleads, but Gayatri refuses to listen. Just then, Karthik arrives and notices the luggage. He questions where Lakshmi would go, reminding Gayatri that Shanti has already thrown her out. Firmly, Karthik declares that Lakshmi will stay and is not going anywhere.
