Kamala informs Sowmya that Mangal has come to see her, leaving Sowmya stunned at the mention of her name. Kamala steps out to call Mangal inside, but Mangal refuses to enter and wonders why Kusum and Ishana haven’t come out. Inside, Kusum hears a noise and senses someone’s presence, but when she tries to go out, she finds the door locked from the outside. She turns to Sudesh’s photo, speaking to it in concern.
Kamala returns and tells Sowmya that Mangal is waiting outside, refusing to come in, and urges her to convince Mangal. Just then, the Saxena family nameplate nearly falls, but Mangal catches it. Sowmya arrives, takes the nameplate from her, and bluntly asks why she’s here. Mangal calmly replies that she wants to speak to Adit. Sowmya refuses, saying Adit doesn’t even want to see her and insists that Mangal talk to her instead, claiming Adit shares everything with her.
Mangal then asks Sowmya to question Adit about why Akshat was sent to boarding school. Sowmya dismisses it as their personal matter and tells Mangal to stay out of their lives. Mangal insists she only wants to meet her son and requests Adit be informed so the school can allow her a visit. Sowmya refuses, claiming she is now Akshat’s mother and flaunts her mangalsutra as proof. Mangal coldly tells her not to boast about something she got as charity and clarifies that she only came for Kusum and the children, not to argue with Sowmya. She then walks away. Furious, Sowmya slams the door and worries that Mangal will try to reach Adit—so she hurries to call him first, growing anxious.
Elsewhere, Adit receives a call confirming his meeting with an investor from Kapil’s company. Elated, he decides to share the news with Sowmya, but before he can, a call from an unknown number interrupts—it’s Mangal. She confronts him about sending Akshat to a hostel and accuses him of traumatizing their son. Adit retorts by blaming her for abandoning them and warns her to stay away. Mangal says she’s just grateful she saw Akshat on his birthday and reminds Adit how little time he spends with the boy. She pleads for a chance to see the kids, but Adit refuses and cuts the call.
Later, Adit returns home with sweets, excitedly sharing his business news with Sowmya. When she asks about it, he tells her about the call from Kapil’s team. Adit then moves to meet Kusum, but notices the door is locked from the outside and questions it. Sowmya casually blames Kamala, and Adit proceeds to check on Kusum.
Meanwhile, Sowmya secretly checks Adit’s phone and finds the call log showing a 10-minute conversation with Mangal. Upset and jealous, she blocks Mangal’s number without telling Adit.
At home, Kusum shows Adit a sweater she’s knitting for his father. Elsewhere, Mangal visits Kapil’s house. Distracted and deep in thought, she stumbles, and Kapil catches her, checking if she’s alright. Back at home, Adit embraces Kusum and tells her to rest, internally vowing that Mangal, who once shattered their lives, will never be allowed back in again.
