Mangal enters the hall with her packed bags and questions Ishana for not getting ready yet, reminding her that they are supposed to shift to their new home. Ishana refuses, saying she wants to stay with Dad and Dadi and has no intention of leaving the house. Mangal tries to make her understand, saying every decision she makes is for her children’s well-being. But Ishana stands firm, saying she is exhausted from all the turmoil and doesn’t want to go anywhere.
Adit arrives and supports Ishana, declaring that she will stay in the same house. Neel walks in, and when Mangal tries to speak to him, Adit announces that Neel will also not go with her. Just then, Akshat arrives, holds Mangal’s hand, and tells her he will stay with her. Mangal feels emotional and relieved. She says she will not force any of her children—anyone who wants to come to her can do so freely, and her doors will always remain open. She leaves with Akshat.
Sowmya then consoles Neel, telling him not to feel abandoned since his mother left, because he still has his choti mom—her—and she will ensure he never misses motherly love. Internally, she thinks, “Two down, one still with Mangal… soon I’ll bring Akshat back too, and Mangal will be completely alone.”
Meanwhile, Akshat tells Mangal he feels tired. To distract him, she suggests they make laddoos together—offering some to God first and then eating the rest. As they prepare them, Akshat asks why Ishana didn’t accompany them. Mangal gently explains that when Ishana truly starts missing them, she will come on her own.
They offer the laddoos to God and then share them peacefully. Later, as Mangal reads the newspaper, she is stunned to see an article stating that Pehla Swad food packets have harmed children. She reads about raids by food officers, worried mothers, over 100 children falling sick, and the threat of the entire brand being shut down. The doorbell rings—Pehla Swad workers arrive at her home, saying her mother gave them her address.
Mangal asks who is spreading false rumors about Pehla Swad, but the workers insist the news is genuine. They reveal that Kapil ji has stopped paying attention to the company and plans to sell it. They fear they will lose their jobs. Mangal refuses to believe this until an employee shows her a printed pamphlet—a competition challenging anyone who can match the taste of Pehla Swad. That person would be eligible to take over the company.
The workers beg her to participate. Mangal says she needs time to think, but Akshat encourages her, saying Pehla Swad is her brand and she has always treated it like her own child. Hearing this, Mangal agrees to compete, determined to save the company. The workers inform her that registrations are the next day. Akshat expresses full confidence that she will win.
The following day, Mangal arrives at the registration venue. Shanti supports her, assuring her she has the capability to win. To their surprise, Sowmya also comes to participate. Shanti questions why she always shadows Mangal. Neel arrives with Sowmya, handing her the registration form. Sowmya tells Mangal she joined only to gain experience, and since Pehla Swad belongs to Mangal, she will back out. But Mangal calmly says it is an open competition—anyone can participate—and the truly deserving person will win.
Both register. Sowmya remarks that fate has once again made them competitors. Mangal sharply replies that she doesn’t care who else is competing—her only focus is victory. She asks Neel why he came along; Neel says Dadi sent him with Kusum, and he couldn’t refuse. He leaves with Sowmya.
Later, Kusum is preparing gondh laddoos, thinking Sowmya is present, but finds Mangal instead. Mangal questions her for sending Neel with Sowmya when he should be concentrating on his studies. Kusum, confused, asks what competition she is talking about. Sowmya and Neel return home, and Sowmya cheerfully thanks Kusum for making laddoos for her.
Soon after, Mangal takes Neel to Ishana and Akshat’s school for admission. The principal initially asks for documentation, but later, after conducting a background check, he refuses to admit Neel. Mangal is left shocked and confused.
Precap: Mangal is waiting at the competition venue when she suddenly receives a call from the principal, informing her that Neel’s interview was arranged just as she requested—yet he never showed up. Mangal is stunned, and Sowmya secretly smirks as she watches her grow anxious.
