After he leaves, Kapil questions her about the medication, and she explains before ending the call.
Pratima, who overheard Kapil’s conversation, confronts him about hiding his feelings for Mangal. He dismisses her and walks away. Meanwhile, Sudesh struggles with a glass—it shatters in his hand, leaving him injured. Mangal and Kusum rush to help, while Sowmya watches smugly, having tampered with the glass to stop Sudesh from sketching the mysterious tattoo symbol.
Later, Sowmya fumes when she sees Sudesh drawing with his left hand instead. Realizing her plan failed, she decides to manipulate Pratima and Shanti into pushing Mangal toward Kapil—ensuring she stays away from Sudesh. She visits Pratima, pretending to advocate for Mangal and Kapil’s marriage, claiming it would benefit both families. She even shows Pratima a video of Mangal praising Kapil to strengthen her case.
As Kapil returns home, Sowmya hides, and Pratima lies about the sweets and shagun items, saying they’re for a pooja. Meanwhile, Mangal contacts the inspector, insisting Sudesh’s repeated sketches of the symbol are linked to his accident and pleading for a reinvestigation. The inspector hesitates but agrees to look into it. Unbeknownst to Mangal, Sowmya—who bears the same tattoo—smirks ominously in the shadows.
