Neel chats with his friend on the phone, complaining that despite Delhi being a big city, there’s nothing interesting to do. His friend asks him to return to Mussoorie so they can resume their bicycle rides. Neel refuses, saying he isn’t foolish enough to give up such a luxurious lifestyle. Suddenly remembering food, he heads to the kitchen.
Sowmya notices the mess Neel left scattered across the floor. She deliberately steps on Neel’s shoe, slips, and screams out Adit’s name. Adit, Kusum, and Mangal rush to her aid. Seeing the injury on Sowmya’s hand, Adit immediately takes her to the hospital. As she is escorted away, Sowmya thinks to herself, “To hurt Mangal, I can endure this pain.”
At the Hospital, Adit turns to Mangal and Kusum, demanding to know who placed the
Neel feels deeply guilty. Kusum also scolds Mangal for her carelessness. Adit calls Mangal selfish and says he will never look at her again if anything happens to his child.
The doctor arrives, and Adit anxiously asks about Sowmya and the baby. The doctor says Sowmya is safe but has suffered a miscarriage. Adit sinks into a chair, devastated. Mangal tries to console him, but he lashes out, saying, “You must be happy after snatching my baby, right?” Mangal is shocked.
Adit enters Sowmya’s room. When Mangal tries to follow, Kusum stops her, saying she shouldn’t face Sowmya after such a grave mistake. Kusum questions why Mangal has changed so much and accuses her of “killing” Sowmya’s baby.
Moments later, a nurse approaches Kusum, Mangal, and Neel to clarify that it was another woman who miscarried, not Sowmya. They are all relieved.
Inside the room, Sowmya weeps to Adit that she cannot live without their baby. Adit promises to protect her and their child. They hug, and Mangal watches through the glass window. Kusum enters, thanking God that Sowmya and the baby are safe. She promises to care for Sowmya until delivery.
Sowmya pretends to agree but internally thinks, “We’re safe because of my prayers.”
Then she sees Mangal and asks who placed the objects in the hall. Adit reveals it was Mangal. Sowmya pretends to be shocked and wonders why Mangal took the blame. Adit tells her to remain in the room and assures her that all her needs will be taken care of. Sowmya wonders why Adit didn’t scold Neel and suspects Mangal interfered.
Neel apologizes to Mangal, saying he never thought his mess would cause such a situation. Mangal tells him that if anything had happened to Sowmya or the baby, she would have never forgiven herself thinking he was responsible. She walks away. Sowmya overhears and thinks Mangal is trying to impress Neel—but she vows not to let that happen.
After Adit makes Sowmya lie down and leaves, Mangal enters and asks why Sowmya pretended to fall despite clearly seeing the obstacles. She questions her real intentions. Sowmya tries to act innocent and expects an apology from Mangal instead.
Mangal accuses Sowmya of not changing at all—that her clothes and behavior may look different but her intentions remain the same. She claims Sowmya tried to harm her and her children, provoked Ishana, and is trying to separate Neel from the family. Sowmya insists she has truly changed, but Mangal says that a woman who uses her own unborn child as a pawn can never be trusted with anyone’s children. She warns Sowmya and leaves.
Sowmya watches her go and thinks darkly, “This time, I will take Mangal’s children away from her.”
