Kusum asks Pratima if the girl chosen to break the Dahi Handi has arrived and when the program will start. Pratima assures her that Mangal is handling everything. Just then, the sound of drums draws everyone outside, where they are surprised and delighted to see Mangal cheerfully playing the dhol with her team, ready to take on the challenge. Kapil proudly declares that Mangal can do anything, while Kusum, Pratima, and Shanti feel overjoyed. Monisha, however, smirks, seeing her plan falling into place. She secretly breaks a glass, hides the shards inside the matki, and injures her hand in the process.

Though Mangal worries the handi is too high, Kapil encourages her to go ahead. Pretending to be unwell, Monisha convinces Adit to take the matki from her and hand it to the Pehla Swad workers,

unknowingly passing on her sabotage. The workers form a human pyramid, and Mangal, after praying for strength, climbs up and breaks the handi. Suddenly, liquid and something sharp fall on her, making her slip and injure her hand. Kapil and Adit rush to her side, deeply concerned, while Monisha feels triumphant.

To everyone’s relief, Mangal escapes with only a hand injury. She explains that she slipped because of flower petals in the handi. Monisha is shocked, realizing the glass shards are missing. Kapil admits he had added petals after the original handi broke, unknowingly foiling Monisha’s plot. Furious, Monisha blames Adit for his carelessness. Pratima suggests calling a doctor, but Mangal insists she is fine and agrees to proceed with the pooja.

Kapil requests the pandit to start the rituals on time. Monisha taunts that it’s fortunate Mangal’s face wasn’t harmed, but Kapil firmly responds that he cherishes Mangal’s inner beauty above all, leaving Monisha burning with jealousy.

Later, while preparing for the pooja, Mangal notices Shanti’s foot injured by glass pieces and wonders who scattered them. A Pehla Swad worker suggests they may have come from the first matki. Mangal also spots blood nearby, realizing someone else was hurt. Soon, Akshat shows her event photos, and she notices someone tampering with the matki—though the face isn’t visible. She understands the accident was no coincidence but a deliberate attempt to harm her.

Precap: Mangal questions Adit about whether he handed the first matki to the Pehla Swad ladies. When Adit admits he did so on Monisha’s instruction, Mangal becomes suspicious. Realizing Monisha is behind some conspiracy, she resolves to uncover the truth.
