Bua Dadi scolds Mangal, asking her not to create a scene as if Akshat were her own child. Mangal retorts that no matter whose child it is, making kids work is wrong, and she takes Akshat away. Bijli complains to Dadi that Mangal taunted her and worries about what people will say. Meanwhile, Mangal notices the injuries on Akshat’s hands and breaks down. She apologizes to him for neglecting him, but Akshat reassures her that it’s not her fault and tells her not to blame herself. Mangal firmly instructs him never to do such cleaning work again, no matter who orders him. Just then, Lipika arrives to call Mangal, and Mangal agrees to come.

At home, Pratima tries to calm Dadi, but Dadi fumes that Mangal disrespected her and questions if this is the upbringing Pratima gave her daughter-in-law.

Pratima defends Mangal, saying her love for children made her react. Dadi lashes out, saying Pratima has forgotten her values, accusing her of choosing the wrong partner for her grandson, and claiming her late husband would never have tolerated this insult. She then turns to Shanti, accusing her of raising Mangal with no values, and says it’s clear why Mangal is still unmarried—that any man would have left her. Shanti reminds Dadi that she and her daughter are giving respect, so Dadi shouldn’t insult them, and also points out that it was Pratima who proposed Kapil and Mangal’s marriage. Pratima intervenes, saying the pandal has started and everyone should put the matter aside.

At the pandal, Mangal serves food to the guests. Adit arrives looking for Akshat. Akshat proudly tells Mangal that her phone had fallen into water, but he used her rice trick, and now it’s working. Mangal praises him, and Akshat asks her to eat with him. She lovingly feeds him. Watching this, Bua Dadi disapproves of Mangal’s closeness with a servant’s son, and Bijli fuels her doubts further. Outside, Adit decides to speak to Mangal about Akshat. He calls her and asks her to meet him for something important. Mangal agrees and steps out. Bua Dadi grows suspicious and secretly follows her but gets distracted, giving Mangal a chance to leave.

Back at the pandal, Shanti sees Akshat’s injured hands and tells Pratima what happened was wrong. She sends Akshat with Lipika and urges Pratima to reveal the truth to Dadi—that Mangal is a divorcee with two children. Pratima refuses, insisting the truth must be hidden until the marriage is finalized. Shanti comments bitterly on the decision.

Mangal meets Adit, who expresses his concern, saying he saw Akshat crying while cleaning vessels and couldn’t bear it. He wonders how it happened under her watch. Just then, Dadi spots Mangal and Adit together. She recalls seeing them together in the market the previous day. When Mangal slips, Adit holds her, and Dadi is shocked. Convinced she has caught Mangal red-handed, Dadi vows to inform Pratima, saying Kapil must know what his bride is doing behind his back. Mangal insists to Adit that Akshat is fine and eating prasad.

Later at home, Dadi broods over Mangal and Adit. When Kapil arrives, she calls him and warns that Mangal’s behavior isn’t good, urging him to reject the marriage. Kapil, however, tells her not to judge Mangal based on first impressions and assures her that Mangal is a good person. Before she can argue further, Kapil receives a call. He asks Dadi to trust him and leaves to attend it. Seeing Pratima still awake, he asks her if something happened at the pandal. Meanwhile, elsewhere, someone suddenly blindfolds Mangal.
