On his birthday, Akshat appears sad, prompting the teacher to ask why—but he remains silent. Meanwhile, Mangal, believing he isn’t at school, leaves the premises with Pratima, unaware of the truth. At home, Sowmya hides Ishana’s secret from Adit and Kusum, covering for her when Adit unexpectedly checks on her. Once alone, Sowmya and Ishana talk candidly, revealing how Ishana sneaked in, and Sowmya reflects on how heartbroken Mangal would be if she knew.
Adit, caught between guilt and responsibility, tells Sowmya he regrets sending Akshat to boarding school, but Sowmya reminds him of the practicalities. Adit calls Akshat to wish him, but the boy, still upset, walks away silently. Kapil later cheers up Akshat and learns about his emotional struggles, deciding to make his birthday special.
Back home, Mangal, unaware the boy Kapil spoke of is Akshat, bakes a cake and decides to visit him. Though the teacher tells her the boy doesn’t want to meet, she leaves the cake and gifts behind. When Akshat receives them, he breaks down in tears, whispering “Mamma.” Just as Mangal is about to leave, she senses something and turns back.
