Adit, rushing for an interview, searches for his blue striped shirt and recalls scolding Mangal in the past when she had praised it. Returning to the present, he asks Sowmya about it, but she suggests he wear something else. Restless, Adit calls Mangal, who reminds him he never liked that shirt and probably packed it away with old clothes. He thanks her and continues searching.
Meanwhile, Bua Dadi asks Mangal for prashad. Mangal hands her phone to Lipika and leaves. Akshat takes the phone, and when Mangal checks the food, Shanti worries about hiding Mangal’s truth as a widow with two kids. Later, Bua Dadi sees the vessels unwashed and orders Akshat to clean them. Despite his refusal, her stern warnings leave him in tears as he scrubs them.
Adit, still unable to find the shirt, video calls Mangal. Akshat answers, and Adit is shocked to see him washing vessels. Crying, Akshat drops the phone in water, cutting the call. Worried, Adit rushes to the temple where Mangal is.
At the temple, Mangal delays distributing prashad, saying the children are missing. Pratima covers up when Dadi questions her, claiming Mangal just loves kids. Soon, Mangal finds Akshat washing vessels, comforts him, and learns Bua Dadi forced him. Furious, she confronts Dadi, who insists she did nothing wrong. When Mangal accuses her of mistreating a child, Dadi lashes back, asking why she is reacting as if Akshat were her own son—leaving Mangal stunned.
