Mangal Lakshmi 15th October 2025 Written Episode, Written Update on TellyUpdates.com
As the wedding preparations reach their peak, Bua Ji and Pratima plead with Mangal to come to the mandap and marry Kapil. But Mangal firmly refuses, saying she cannot leave Akshat when he is in such a critical state. Desperate to save the family’s reputation, Chinta Bua falls at Mangal’s feet, begging her to agree or else everyone will face humiliation. Torn but resolute, Mangal asks Bua Ji to understand her situation. Just then, the doctor arrives, examines Akshat, administers an injection, and assures her that he will recover soon. Watching Mangal’s concern, Chinta Bua mutters that she only cares about her own family.
Moments later, Akshat regains consciousness, filling the house with relief. Overcome with emotion, he hugs Mangal tightly and tearfully asks if she is fine. Puzzled, Mangal replies that she is perfectly fine and asks why he is so worried. Akshat says he feared she might not reach the venue, but Chinta Bua hastily gestures for him to keep the truth quiet. She tries to divert the matter, insisting Mangal should now return to marry Kapil since Akshat is fit.
Mangal then questions Akshat about why he had gone into that dangerous inverter room. Akshat reveals that he didn’t go there on his own—Chinta Bua and Bijli locked him inside. The revelation shocks everyone. Chinta Bua immediately denies it and accuses Akshat of lying. Akshat insists he overheard her plotting to lock Mangal inside the parlour, but when she realized he knew the truth, she trapped him instead. Kusum supports Akshat, reminding everyone that she saw Chinta Bua raising her hand at Akshat, proving his honesty. Chinta Bua continues to feign innocence, begging Kapil to believe her, claiming she has never harmed any child. Mangal instructs Ishana to take Akshat inside, gently convincing him to rest despite his protests.
Angered by the manipulation, Mangal directly confronts Chinta Bua, demanding to know why she locked Akshat in the room. Bua acts innocent again, while Kapil intervenes, calling it a misunderstanding and insisting Chinta Bua could never behave that way. Mangal defends Akshat’s truth, reminding everyone that she herself was locked in the parlour, proving a bigger conspiracy. Kapil argues that Chinta Dadi wants their marriage and would therefore never sabotage it. But Mangal counters that Kusum’s mother witnessed Chinta Bua raise her hand on Akshat, and if Kapil keeps defending Bua, even Kusum will walk away.
Chinta Bua bursts into tears, and Kapil comforts her, asking Mangal to stop blaming Dadi based solely on Akshat’s version. Mangal refuses to back down, reminding Kapil that Akshat is his best friend and deeply wants their marriage to happen, so he would never lie. Kapil retorts that just as she trusts her son, he trusts his Bua Dadi. Mangal boldly declares that his Bua Dadi doesn’t actually want this marriage—she despises her and her children and is doing everything to prevent it.
Insulted, Chinta Bua defends herself, claiming she came with the baarat precisely because she wanted the wedding to take place. Lipika, however, steps forward and questions her—if her intentions were so pure, why did she insist that Lipika should marry Kapil when Mangal hadn’t arrived? Startled, Mangal reveals the truth: Bua Dadi is the one who sent her to the parlour under false pretenses, intending to lock her there so Kapil would marry Lipika instead. She adds that when Akshat overheard the plan, Bua Dadi locked him in the room to silence him. “This is the truth,” Mangal declares fearlessly.
Kapil turns to Pratima, asking if she knew about Bua Dadi’s plea to Lipika. Chinta Bua tries to defend herself again, claiming she only asked Lipika to marry Kapil to save both families’ prestige when the bride wasn’t present at the mandap. She cries bitterly, saying she’s being unfairly humiliated despite her sacrifices. Pratima steps in, siding with Bua Dadi, saying she acted out of concern for the family’s honor and that the discussion can wait until after the wedding. She assures Mangal that once married, all issues will be settled—she and her children will come to live in their house, and the kids will stay with their grandparents.
Shocked to the core, Mangal questions Kapil about his earlier promise, reminding him that he swore the children would live with them after marriage. Now trembling and hurt, she asks what this new arrangement means—was the marriage only a compromise for the family’s image?
Precap: Mangal tells Kapil that her entire life is devoted to her children and decides to call off the marriage.
