Christina accuses Mangal of cheating and shows everyone a bill, claiming that Mangal didn’t cook the dish but bought it from a restaurant. Eisha informs Mangal of the accusation, and Mangal asserts that she cooked the dish herself. Adit supports her, stating that he saw her cook it in front of them and that they did not cheat. Christina mocks Mangal, calling her a housewife with no education and claiming she couldn’t know how to prepare a continental dish. She adds that Mangal is a backward woman. When Eisha translates Christina’s words, Mangal responds with composure, saying she is not ashamed to be called a housewife.
She emphasizes that she is also a mother who manages her family on a budget. Mangal explains that she baked the cake using a pressure cooker, showcasing her resourcefulness, and points out that women in her country are skilled at finding alternatives to handle challenges. She offers to cook the dish again to prove her honesty. Christina, however, dismisses her and claims victory, insisting Mangal has been caught. At that moment, Steve intervenes and says the real culprit must be exposed. He reveals that he saw Christina order the dish and hide the bill in her pocket. He explains that her plan became clear when she blamed Mangal. Steve disqualifies Christina for unethical behavior and declares Mangal the winner. Mangal proudly collects her trophy from Steve.
Addressing Christina, Mangal says she came to represent her country and make it proud. She adds that she hopes Christina strives for the same. Mangal praises her homeland and sings the national song, earning applause from everyone. Eisha proudly tells Mangal that she has made their nation proud. To honor Mangal, the judges surprise her by wearing traditional Indian outfits and commend her for representing her country with dignity. They take a group selfie to celebrate the moment.
Mangal returns to the hotel. Sowmya calls her, but Mangal decides to speak with her later and goes to the washroom. She notices Kusum calling Adit’s phone and, thinking it’s an opportunity to show her mother the trophy, she answers. To her shock, it’s a video call with Sowmya. Sowmya begins scolding Mangal, accusing her of trying to trap Adit, and asks why she has Adit’s phone. When Sowmya notices Adit in the background, he quickly takes the phone from Mangal and steps out.
Sowmya lashes out at Adit, accusing him of sharing the same bed with Mangal. Despite his attempts to explain, Sowmya refuses to listen and disconnects the call in anger. Meanwhile, Kusum faints while searching for her phone. Sowmya believes Kusum was trying to bring Mangal and Adit together and vows to make her pay. Later at a party, Adit is stunned to see Mangal looking beautiful in a saree. He feels jealous seeing Steve with Mangal and gives her a gift but begins drinking in frustration. In his anger, he scolds Mangal, and she mistakenly drinks alcohol instead of juice.
Jia confronts Lakshmi and asks why she is speaking in Gayathri’s voice. Lakshmi claims to be Gayathri and threatens Jia, blaming her for separating her from her son. Lakshmi tries to strangle Jia, but Jia pushes her away and flees, eventually running into Sanjana. Terrified, Jia tells Sanjana she saw Gayathri’s ghost and that Lakshmi was wearing Gayathri’s dress and speaking like her.
Sanjana suspects Jia might have pushed Gayathri off a cliff. Later, she notices Lakshmi holding Gayathri’s dress. Lakshmi, confused, says she doesn’t know why she wore the dress and has no memory of it. Sanjana assures her it’s due to her worries about Karthik and promises to keep it a secret. Meanwhile, Jia reaches her car, but Gayathri’s saree falls on it, leading to an accident. Raghuveer visits Karthik in jail to get his signature on bail papers. Karthik thanks him for helping his family during tough times and asks about his mother. Raghuveer lies, saying she is doing better.
The next day, Lakshmi prays for Gayathri’s return. Sanjana is uncertain whether Gayathri’s soul has possessed Lakshmi. Lakshmi tells Umesh it’s Makar Sankranti and suggests donating to the poor in Gayathri and Karthik’s names. Umesh agrees. Later, Jia’s mother notices her daughter is anxious. Jia reveals everything to her mother, who reassures her that ghosts don’t exist and motivates her to attend the Makar Sankranti function at the temple.
When Umesh’s car breaks down, Lakshmi suggests donating to the poor people nearby instead. Umesh agrees, finding the idea thoughtful. At the event, the anchor welcomes Jia as the chief guest. Jia assumes the attention is due to her fame and popularity. Meanwhile, Karthik struggles in jail. Attending the function gives Jia a positive feeling, something she had been longing for. Umesh notices that Jia is the chief guest of the program.
