Chinta Bua tells Shanti that it’s wrong to keep the groom and the baarat waiting, urging her to call Mangal. Shanti agrees and goes to call her. Meanwhile, Akshat lies unconscious in a room with water spreading dangerously nearby, risking electrocution.
Outside the bride’s room, Kusum tells Mangal that if she wants to give Adit another chance, she supports her and asks her to call off the wedding with Kapil. Shanti arrives, angrily drags Kusum inside, and scolds her for suggesting Mangal cancel the wedding, blaming her for Mangal’s absence.
Chinta Bua inquires about Mangal’s whereabouts. Shanti says she’s still at the parlour. Chinta Bua comments that Mangal hasn’t moved on from her first marriage and implies he doesn’t deserve Kapil, insisting the baarat won’t leave until the wedding happens. Lipika arrives, saying everyone is calling them. Chinta Bua shocks everyone by insisting Lipika should marry Kapil instead, covering her with a dupatta and dragging her forward despite her protests.
Pratima arrives and objects, but Chinta Bua silences her, declaring Kapil will marry Lipika. Kapil, confused, asks about Mangal’s absence.
At that moment, Mangal arrives, soaked and distressed, asking for Akshat. She ignores the chaos and searches the venue. Ishana says Akshat is nowhere to be found, and Shanti urges Mangal to prepare for the wedding, but Mangal refuses. She finally spots Akshat’s kurta, unlocks the door, and rescues him just before he could be electrocuted. She pleads with the unconscious Akshat to wake up, while Kapil turns off the electricity and calls a doctor.
Bijli taunts Chinta Bua, warning her that if Akshat regains consciousness, he could expose her schemes. The pandit announces that only a few minutes remain for the wedding. Chinta Bua tells Mangal to sit in the mandap for the rituals, instructing Kusum to stay with Akshat until the ceremony ends. Kusum glares angrily at her.
Kapil returns, and Pratima urges Mangal to proceed, but Mangal refuses, insisting she won’t participate until Akshat regains consciousness. Chinta Bua tries to coerce her, claiming Akshat is trapped while playing and implying Mangal should not disrupt this wedding since her first marriage is already over. Mangal stands firm, refusing to go forward until Akshat is safe.
