Mangal questions Kusum, asking how Neel managed to obtain so much gold and whether he stole the jewellery. Kusum immediately defends him, explaining that she was the one who gave him the jewellery. Adit then asks Kusum why she handed it over. Mangal accuses Kusum of lying just to protect Neel from getting arrested, pointing out that Kusum would never part with her wedding jewellery. Hurt and confused, Neel walks away. Kusum urges Mangal to stop doubting him, but Mangal argues that ignoring his small mistakes now might push him toward a bigger crime in the future. Kusum accuses Mangal of treating Neel like a step-son rather than her own child and refusing to trust her judgment. Later, Mangal checks on Ishana and asks if she is feeling better. Ishana claims the medicine has helped, but when Mangal spots the discarded pills in the dustbin, she questions her again. Ishana lies, insisting she is fine. Mangal becomes suspicious about why Ishana hid the truth. After Mangal leaves, Ishana speaks to a friend over the phone, saying they won’t be going to Mussoorie anytime soon. Mangal overhears and assumes Ishana is faking her injury out of jealousy, afraid that Neel’s presence might replace her place in the family.
While folding clothes, Mangal complains about Ishana’s jealous behaviour. Shanti comments that if Ishana and Neel stay under the same roof, fights will continue, and suggests Mangal return to Mussoorie with Ishana and Akshat. Mangal disagrees, saying Ishana might feel neglected if Neel moves in and that her mental health is already delicate. She decides Ishana should stay where she is. Shanti worries about the Mussoorie dhaba, but Mangal says she will manage work from here for now; her priority is her children’s well-being. Shanti appreciates her dedication. Neel walks in, and Shanti blesses him, but on his way out, he deliberately drops a chair on her foot. Shanti scolds him. Mangal asks Neel to come with her to Mussoorie to collect luggage and meet his mother. Shanti taunts Neel again, and he storms out angrily. Shanti tells Mangal that Adit has left her already, and now Neel will make her life even harder with his behaviour.
Meanwhile, Adit’s car breaks down, and with no mechanic available and no cab service working, he panics as he is late for an important meeting. Just then, Neel arrives and offers help. He successfully fixes the car, and Adit, impressed, hugs him emotionally, saying he once dreamed of becoming a mechanical engineer. Later, Neel thanks Sowmya for informing him about Adit’s situation, saying it was the first time his father hugged him. Sowmya decides to push Neel closer to Adit so he will drift away from Mangal.
At home, Sowmya is busy in an online meeting. Kusum encourages her to eat, but Sowmya says she is working hard to support the household and help Adit. Mangal then hands over an envelope of money for her children’s expenses. Sowmya insists she didn’t mean anything wrong. Mangal explains she has sold her Mussoorie dhaba and will take full responsibility for her children. She also shares that she is searching for a nearby house and will move as soon as she finds one. Kusum questions why she is separating the family again. Mangal clarifies that they will still stay in the same colony and meet often. She remains firm in her decision. Watching this, Sowmya concludes that Mangal will end up living alone—without her children.
Precap: Sowmya decides to use Neel as a tool in her plan to take revenge on Mangal. Noticing that Neel has scattered things around the couch, she intentionally steps on them and pretends to fall.
She is rushed to the hospital, where Adit demands to know who left the items lying around. Neel tries to confess, but Mangal stops him and takes the blame on herself. Adit lashes out at Mangal, accusing her of doing it deliberately, and warns that if anything happens to his child, he won’t spare her.
