Adit tells Kusum he wants Mangal to leave the house, claiming he saw her in Kapil’s arms. Mangal is shocked and questions his accusations, but Adit continues to attack her character, stating he saw her coming from Kapil’s house. Ishana confronts Mangal, asking if what Adit said is true and whether she still wants to marry Kapil after everything he’s done. She also questions if Mangal even cares about her anymore.
Noticing that Mangal isn’t wearing her engagement ring, Ishana presses her further. Mangal firmly replies that she doesn’t owe anyone explanations and says she’s the same mother who always prioritized her children. She reveals she has resigned from Pehla Swad and insists she only ever acts in her kids’ best interest before walking away. Sowmya, frustrated by this unexpected twist, realizes her plan has backfired and that Mangal is unlikely to leave the house now.
Meanwhile, Kapil looks at old photos of himself and Mangal, tearfully missing her and staring at the engagement ring.
Later that night, Mangal lovingly tucks Ishana into bed. Ishana says, “Love you, Mom,” and Mangal switches off the light. Once Mangal leaves, Ishana begins watching reels on her phone. She receives a call from Yash, who reminds her of a favor she promised and demands she meet him—or he’ll expose that she slapped herself, not Kapil. Ishana sneaks out of the house while Mangal, sensing a noise, wakes up and comes out to check. Ishana manages to hide and escape unnoticed.
Meeting Yash, Ishana is stunned when he demands ₹50,000. She offers to complete all his projects instead, but Yash refuses and shows her the video of the slap incident. Meanwhile, Mangal notices the main door is ajar and tries to shut it when she finds Ishana’s anklet stuck in it. Suspicious, she checks Ishana’s room and finds it empty.
As Yash threatens to expose her if she doesn’t pay by the next day, Mangal arrives at the scene after he leaves. She finds Ishana walking back, visibly injured, and takes her inside. Adit asks what happened, but Ishana appears dazed and unresponsive. Mangal sprinkles water on her face, and Ishana pretends to regain consciousness, claiming she had a disturbing dream about Kapil and doesn’t remember anything else. When Mangal questions her further, Adit intervenes, saying Ishana is traumatized and should not be pressured.
Later, as Mangal puts Ishana to sleep, Ishana thinks about her narrow escape and worries about arranging money for Yash. Mangal, growing more suspicious, notices Ishana’s phone ringing. When she picks it up, Ishana suddenly appears and snatches it from her. Mangal questions how it fell, as Ishana always keeps it with her. Ishana claims it must’ve fallen while sleepwalking, but Mangal begins to suspect Ishana is hiding something.
