Scene 1
Soumya pulls her chunri from Mangal. Mangal says easy. She says what is this for? Soumya says I got this for my friend. The shopkeeper says ma’am we packed your wedding dress. Your finance is also coming to get his sherwani? Mangal says are you getting married? Adit is on the call. He says Soumya someone is keeping an eye on us. Are you there? Soumya doesn’t listen. She says I hope Adit listens and doesn’t come here. Mangal asks Soumya are you getting married? She says yes. I also have a boyfriend so I wanna settle down. Do you have a problem? Mangal says why would I?
Adit comes there. He sees Mangal. Adit hides. Mangal asks Soumya what happened. She says nothing. She leaves.
Scene 2
Kusum comes home. She gives the songs to Ishana. Ishana picks paper. She overlooks the divorce papers and leaves them on the table. The shopkeeper says a married woman should take the wedding dress for you. It’s a good omen. He gives the dress to Mangal.
Akshar hits the ball on the papers. The candle falls on Mangal’s wedding dress. Kusum comes there. She says what did you do/? She says the ball fell on it on it and the candle fell and burned it. Kusum says what did you do? She tries to extinguish the fire. Kusum burns her hand trying to save the dress. She says it was Mangal’s wedding dress. It’s a very bad omen. Mangal takes the dress from the shopkeeper and gives it to Soumya. Mangal gets a call from home. She drops the dress and runs out. Soumya calls Adit.
Mangal comes home and finds her dress burned. The kids cry. Ishana says I
am sorry mama. The kids hug her and say sorry. Mangal sees Kusum’s hands burned. She says what did you do? She takes Kusum outside.
Scene 2
The blackmailer calls Adit adn says I need money right away. Soumya comes there. Adit says we are gonna get stuck badly. He shows her the photo adn says there is a blackmailer. He is gonna expose it. She says it must be Lipika. Adit says I don’t think it’s her. She can’t do anything. I know she doesn’t have courage. Dont worry about it.
Mangal dresses Kusum’s burns. She says why did you do it? Kusum says it was your wedding dress. Mangal says your hands are more important than a dress. She says you were gonna wear it. Mangal says you can’t fix what’s burned. I am just happy that my family is with me. So many bad things are happening one after another. I hope all goes well. Kusum says don’t think about bad things. Think about the good things. Kusum says you adn Adit will do Ravan dhavan tomorrow. All bad things would go away.
ADit says where will I pay this blackmailer from. Mangal gives him the coffee. She asks if is everything okay. You look worried. He says I have a lot of work. Mangal says I met Soumya at the saree shop today. She’s getting married. He’s shocked. She says would you go? he says no I wouldn’t. The kidnapper texts, you only have time till 7 PM tomorrow.
Soumya talks to Pandit Ji and asks him to find a good time. She says we’re getting engaged today. He says your kundli isn’t matching with his at all. You might have to do something. You have to tie this thread on Adit’s hand before evening today. She says okay.

Mangal gives Kusum team. She says I got this jewelry for you to wear on karwa chauth. Mangal sees the papers on the table. Kusum says is the food burning? I smell something. Mangal rushes to the kitchen. Kusum asks Akshar to give her the thaal. He puts a cloth on the thaal, the papers are on it. He gives it to Kusum. Mangal asks where the papers go. He says what paper? Kusum provides the thaal to Mangal. She overlooks the papers. Mangal says Karthik will bring Lakshmi today. Something is worrying her a lot.
