Kapil sees Monisha talking to Mangal and imagines a disastrous scenario where Monisha tells Mangal a fabricated truth, leading Mangal to break off their relationship. Snapping out of the thought, Kapil overhears Mangal being called away by Amma. On her way, Akshat accidentally stains Mangal’s saree, sending her to Kusum’s washroom to clean it.
Outside Mangal’s room, Kapil decides to reveal his past. Speaking through the door, he admits he once loved Monisha and planned to marry her, but fate separated them. He clarifies that they have no connection now and apologizes, asking Mangal to take her time before deciding. Unknown to him, Adit is inside listening and plotting to use this secret for revenge. Moments later, Mangal exits the washroom, confused by Adit’s strange smirk.
Later in the hall, Kapil again apologizes, assuming Mangal is upset about his confession. Believing he is talking about a delayed order, she reassures him and asks him not to overthink, leaving Kapil relieved. Pratima later scolds him for revealing the truth, but he insists it was necessary to prevent Monisha from twisting the story.
Meanwhile, Adit searches for news from August 12, 2022, claiming Kapil committed a big crime that day. Mangal finds something startling in some papers and urgently calls Kapil, saying she has learned the “full truth.” Kapil fears Monisha’s involvement and rushes to meet her—only to discover a surprise birthday party arranged by Mangal and her family. She reveals she learned the date from their kundli.
Relieved and touched, Kapil believes Mangal has accepted him, past and all, and resolves to look forward to a happy married life with her.
