The receptionist hesitates, stating that the lady is busy, but Adit pleads for one last chance. He then calls Sowmya to update her on the situation. Meanwhile, an employee informs Mangal that someone has come to meet her. Kapil remarks that it seems to be the same person returning. Mangal believes in second chances, while Kapil questions her choice of attire—uniform or formal. Unsure, she leaves the decision pending.
As Adit waits impatiently for Susheela, Kusum shops for a saree for Pratima and a chunri for Gauri Maa. Her card gets declined, and another shopper rudely tells her to step aside if she can’t pay. Kusum calls Adit for help. Mangal enters the meeting room, but Adit has already left, rushing to assist Kusum. When Mangal asks who was waiting, the receptionist nearly reveals Adit’s name but is cut off by Kapil, who dismisses Adit as “egoistic” for leaving early. Mangal reflects that she still has much to learn in business, while Kapil insists she must stay until their Delhi branch is approved—something she refuses.
Meanwhile, Kusum calls Sowmya, who admits to blocking her cards, claiming she can’t afford unnecessary expenses. Heartbroken, Kusum returns the items. Later, Mangal visits the same shop, buys the saree and chunri Kusum wanted, and sends them to her anonymously, saying she reminded her of her mother. Adit finds Kusum, frustrated that her shopping made him miss his meeting. Kusum, touched by the stranger’s kindness, wants to thank her, but Adit laments losing his chance with the investors.
Elsewhere, Mangal looks at employee gifts, lost in a daydream of Kusum and the children calling her pretty. She snaps back to reality, aching with loneliness, realizing how much she misses her family.
