The Pehla Swad workers arrive at Mangal’s house and tie rakhi to Kapil, asking him to take care of her. Mangal, seeing Monisha as part of the Pehla Swad team now, urges her to tie rakhi to Kapil too. Adit supports the idea, joking that along with a job, Monisha will gain a brother. Both Kapil and Monisha look uneasy. Suddenly, Monisha pretends to feel dizzy, claiming weakness, and Mangal shows concern. Adit advises her to rest, and she goes inside. Before the workers leave, Mangal insists they stay for a meal.
Later, Monisha prepares to leave Adit’s house, but he suggests she stay since she’s unwell. She insists she’s fine and moving to the place Mangal suggested. On her way out, she slips on pebbles, dropping a photo from her bag. Kusum picks it up and recognizes it as Sudesh’s uncle Kisan and aunt — her relatives. Overjoyed, she declares Monisha is Kisan’s granddaughter and Adit’s sister, welcoming her as family. Adit, pleased his lie to Sowmya has turned into an advantage, invites Monisha to stay. Kusum also insists, telling Monisha to treat their house as her home.
Privately, Monisha smirks, recalling how she had stolen Kisan’s photo and faked one with herself in it. Adit sees this as an opportunity to use Monisha to expose Kapil, while Kapil grows suspicious about her supposed family ties. Determined to get close to Kapil, Monisha stages another act — she stands on a stool to reach her suitcase, pretends to fall, and cries out. Kapil rushes to help, and while Adit leaves to bring Mangal, Kapil scolds Monisha for her carelessness before tending to her injured foot. Monisha thinks to herself that she will make him remember their past love.
Adit deliberately sends Mangal to Monisha’s room, where she finds Kapil bandaging Monisha’s foot. Shocked, she drops her phone. Kapil tries to explain, but Mangal runs off, and he follows her. Monisha, satisfied, thinks Kapil will return to her.
Outside, Mangal struggles with the memory of Adit’s betrayal and admits to Kapil that she trusts him but can’t shake her fear of being hurt again. She knows he’s honest but is haunted by her past, confessing that she couldn’t bear another betrayal. Kapil silently considers revealing his own past before their marriage.
